The cellar doors sit at an angle at the base of an exterior wall of the house. They swing outward and cover brick lined walls and a set of stone steps that decsend into the earth and the darkened basement below the house. Go Out to into the YardGo Down into the Basement

i went into the basement because you always find the weird stuff in the basement.

Zphal breathed in the dusky, earthy scent of the entrance to the basement. She waited with bated breath, ears attuned to any noises. It sure was dark down there. Zphal gulped, wondering if it was such a good idea to descend...
Grabbing a rock, she tossed it down the steps and listened to it rattle down each stair. Nothing stirred.
Holding tighter to her shotgun, Zphal descended, leaving the door to the outside wide open, casting some light down into the depths...
