Okay, so this is an assignment for my Internet Journalism class. I have to write my own Friday the 13th poem and post it on Friday the 13th. But right now I am having writer's block and I have no idea on how to start it. Will somebody help me out please?

What are some other superstitions other than breaking mirrors, spilling salt, walking under ladders, black cats crossing, and stepping on cracks?

You could start it with a mention of witches, because Friday the Thirteenth is supposedly when witches meet the devil to plot mischief, or you could talk about creeping darkness. Is there any specific format you have to use, or is it write however you want?
However, you could start out with illest fortune most foul, or maybe a witch's coven met one night, or any other superstition-themed line you want, though Friday the Thirteenth should (in my opinion) be mentioned in the first three lines at least once.
