Looking to the south you can see the ocean.
You are on the top of a gentle sloping hill. From here you have a fairly unobstructed view of the surrounding landscape. To the south you can see the ocean and the beach isn't very far off, just at the bottom of the hill. To the east and south east you can see where a broad river flows out to the sea, it has several sand banks fanning out along it's wide mouth where it meets the ocean. Just beyond the river to the east you can see the land is hilly and even slightly mountainous. Looking to the north from here you can see the river coming down from the north and a forest off to the north west. Between the river and the forest there is a stretch of grassy land with a road that comes up the rise to where you are now standing and then curves off to the west where it runs along the land between the foerst and the ocean for a ways. To the southwest you can see the beach continues in a line roughly to the west along coast. Here on top of the hill where the road bends to the west there are a few sizable rocks that make for good seats to sit and enjoy the view. It is quite windy here however.
