Altair's your epitome of an a**. He's sarcastic, brash, has no respect for anyone except for himself. At least, it doesn't seem as though he does. The stallion was abandoned by his parents as a basket and left alone for weeks after his hatching, learning how to speak and get food from watching other Soquili go about their business.
Draven attempted to take him in when he was still learning and he did get a lot from the stallion - he really did. He just is loathe to admit it. He doesn't like the fact that he needed someone. He doesn't like the fact that he depended on someone. He fancies himself completely and utterly independent despite the fact he knows he would have likely died if it weren't for Draven's influence.
When it comes to love, he scarcely believes in it. Love is a word that people use as an excuse to do things that would otherwise be frowned upon. Sure, fondness may exist but the actual love? He's definitely not big on the word.
It would take quite a bit to 'win' this stallion's heart - and that's an understatement. He won't stand for brainless twits and the only mare he'd consider mating would have to be one who saw him as God, worshiped him, but at the same time refused to fawn over him. Obviously difficult shoes to fill. They'd have to be able to hold a decent conversation, be intelligent, but still think he was the best thing in the world. Unfortunately, his standards are quite a bit high. Good luck, ladies.

Passionate. That's the one word that could be used to describe Asherah. She's like the sea - giving and taking. Passionate and calm, angry and loving. You never know what side you'll get though. She changes as often as the sea does.
She doesn't hold herself or others to the standards of the world. She doesn't see things as 'wrong' that other's would see. There is no issue 'bedding' stallions, no issues if she becomes with foal. There's no issue of loyalty vs non loyalty. The mare understands that there is no such thing as true permanence.
Asherah lives and dies by the sea. Nothing will ever change that.

Though she's young, she's very take-life-as-it-comes. To her, there's no use getting up in arms about things you can't change. There's a very logical order in which things are done, and when she gets a mind to change things, she will do it in a calm, rational manner.

He loves asking questions, getting messy and making mistakes. When he becomes interested in a subject, he's like a dog with a bone - he won't let go until he's completely satisfied.
It's a good thing his sister can temper him and get him to sit still for a minute. He's yet to actually be able to light a fire under her, though.

Personality: Azharaie is prideful, vain to an extent, elegant, and thinks herself to be royalty and infallible/incorruptible. She lives in a very beautiful glen with all sorts of floral life and a stream - she calls it her own little bit of paradise. Az feels the need to surround herself in beautiful things, even though she's pretty certain nothing will ever come close to her in beauty. It simply enhances her own.
It isn't often that she ventures out of her own little world, but when she does she has no concern at all for any kind of danger. To her, nothing can touch her. In this, she's very naive and to an even further extent possibly delusional. Never has anything challenged this train of thought, however, so as far as she's concerned she's right.

Personality: Cepheus comes from a family who places a lot on the concept of honor. His mother is completely bound by it, determined to live up to his grandfather's standards. His father is honorable in his own right and has always stood by his mother, himself, and his brothers. He grew up learning how to properly treat people - not just ladies - and while he's not as steadfast as his mother he has a very gentlemanly feel to him.
Cepheus is polite and rather knightly though he's also quite the dreamer, often getting lost in his thoughts and concepts of reality that aren't quite true. Most of the time, this does not interfere with his every day life and he's pretty good at reigning in fantasy from reality.

Personality: Dyrim is old - so old, in fact, that he can't quite tell you how long he's been around. In his age and wisdom, he's learned that silence is often not only the best weapon, but the best way to go about things. He is analytical, observant and meticulous in every thing he does, finding him better aware of the world if he can hold his tongue. That being said, it isn't often that Dyrim speaks unless he's directly addressed.
Dyrim fancies himself a protector of those who needs it, though he is inconsistent in what he deems 'need'. It isn't unusual to see him perched somewhere simply watching the world and its goings on.
Personality: Daiki grew up basically on his own with no an absentee father and an insane, mostly absent mother who did no more than check in on him occasionally to make sure he was still alive.
He finds it difficult to stay in one place for a long period of time, and is extremely restless. He doesn't typically like attachments, but he refuses to be like his parents. He's not the love 'em and leave 'em kind of stallion, and any conquests are friends should they wish to be, and any resulting foals will be loved.
Personality: Extremely peaceful and calm. However, being raised with Raelle's given her insight on how to look at things. Emera has a way of seeing and knowing things based purely on her intuition. She's not clairvoyant, or can't actually see the future, but she always puts extreme stock in her intuitions because they're usually right. She's kind of shy, personality wise, and is very gentle. Hard to rile up, and extremely easy to please.
Fortune's...A strange bean. Up until recently she thought going in the lake caused legs to dissolve because she couldn't see them, and after a while, feel them. She enjoys singing (though it's not very pleasant) and doesn't like to stay in one place too long. She wanders, a lot.
If she decides something is so, it's so. At least to her. If she says it's a nice day, even if it's raining and storming and ghosts are trying to bite her - it's a good day and nobody can tell her any different. The mare enjoys doing things on a whim, as well, be it chasing butterflies or making up songs.
While she enjoys making friends, Fortune is a little wary of jumping into relationships of the romantic sort. Friends are fine and dandy - Romance scares the crap out of her. The fact that someone could have that much control over her actions, even if it's unintentional, doesn't sit well with her.
If romance ever DOES take place, the lucky stallion will have quite the loyal gal. It will take a lot for her to get that close to someone and if they manage to get her to do it, she won't be going anywhere.
Fortune used to be a serious af foal who was cautious about things and minded her elders etc. The herd she was a part of got really sick and started dying off - plague like almost - and she got sick too. Her fever was very high but she was one of the lucky ones because she got sick right before the humans found them so she was nursed back to health. Her entire family, however, died The prolonged fever addled her a bit She has basically gone through life with everyone thinking she's crazy - and she is to an extent - but she's kind and caring if you can put up with her saying random weird things and believing funny things like her feet dissolve in water because she can't see them Then she met a stallion who became her best friend and she ended up falling in love with him because he never looked at her like she was crazy and actually brought her down to earth and helped her become more rational. She never told him, and he came to her one day to tell her he was lifemated now and was expecting foals. Crushed her. And he started coming around less and less and eventually never came back

Personality:
Ever since Gemma was a foal, she has loathed the fact that she was born without a horn. Being the only one without one (except for her father) and being the one most passionate about healing and helping has only made her slightly bitter about the fact (though she goes out of her way to avoid the subject). After all, healing without a horn when one has no hands is probably increasingly difficult.
However, her ingenuity wasn't lost. The mare began to make visits to the village, studying the medicine woman and listening keenly for hours on end. The village became a second home to her and she locked away knowledge best she could. The mare learned to utilize her wings in place of hands and has taken up the title of Medicine Mare - kindly given to her by her love.
In this, she is most passionate. Healing various creatures is her favorite thing to do. Stomping around to spot new herbs and flowers to use is also a favorite past time. Her antics have always been constant source of exasperation for her elder brother, Raphael, though he seems to be unable to be mad at her for long. For this, she is pleased.
Gemma is very sentimental and the little things are often the ones that win her heart.
Hienna is the kind of mare to think very carefully about what she says before she says it. Thus, the unicorn often comes off as slow or stupid. However, she is constantly afraid of offending someone with her speech. Recently, finding her love Zaphiro has started to loosen her up - but this is generally reserved for him. After all, he loves her and won't leave her if she accidently slips up every now and then.
She likes to get lost in her thoughts and ponder about things that most Soquili wouldn't give a second thought to. One of her favorite past times is appreciating the beauty in the world in the smallest things. The sunset, the sunrise, the way the wind hits the grass and makes it dance.
Hienna has problems with her mother's ghosts - not literally, just her mother's voice is constantly with her. The old mare had a large impact on Hienna's life and she just can't seem to shake her for too too long before the voice returns telling her to stop stuttering, to think about what she says, and to not trust anyone.

Personality: Isolde was the product of light and pure evil. Her mother, a Uni, was accosted by a skinwalker - who nearly killed her - and the end result was Isolde. When she was born, she looked far more like her father (and had a slightly 'dark' temperament which was off-putting to the stuck up unicorn herd) which left her mother to curse her existence. Eventually, as she grew up (and her train of thought edged on slightly insane), she was shunned from the herd and left to her own devices.
Isolde is overly interested in the concept of death. She's fascinated by it and it's sometimes unclear whether or not she's going to tip over the edge into obsessed. She is very deliberate in everything she does, loves the idea of power, and often has inner conflict on the subject of morality.
The Unicorn is very good at convincing others that she knows things that she really doesn't. When she tells you you're going to die, it's hard not to believe she doesn't know what she's talking about. Isolde is creepy - no doubt about it.
Clumsy and silly. Very much Fortune's son (with a little bit of Safi thrown in) so he's respectful and isn't totally against the idea of love or friendship in general. Oh, yes, he was blessed by not completely getting his mother's sense of insanity and antisocial-ness; instead gaining more desirable traits from his adopted father.
Don't expect anything mundane from this alicorn, that's for certain. He's likely to make your head spin. However, he does have more moments of seriousness than his parents do. So you may get lucky.

Arrogant. Flirty. Incredibly blunt and to the point. This one is likely never to settle down and is probably best described as a frat boy. He's not the brightest bulb in the Christmas tree, for certain. After all, he was one to go after a SKINWALKER and not back down until blood was drawn, still hitting on her and insisting she wanted him the entire time.
He's quite oblivious to anything that isn't explained to him in plain detail. Silly stallion. Not only that, he won't let his ego take a blow and is, to quote an RP, "Thick as a pile of bricks when it comes to admitting his own faults."

Personality: Still working on Nova's personality - but she's vibrant, spontaneous, and there wouldn't really be a dull moment around her. A spitfire and firecracker, I'm thinking, with a very 'I CAN CHANGE THE WORLD' attitude about her.
Personality: Still working on this for Padmavati. However - Padma is more about karma, balance in the world, and generally weighs actions and consequences beyond just herself. Maybe kind of hermit-like, very tranquil and down to earth.
Always one to talk in riddles or in circles, Paeya's thinking isn't necessarily one that most would share with her. She tends to think outside the box - or this realm of sanity in itself (so some would claim). However, the way she speaks, sometimes, is in such a calm manner it's almost eerie.
Often times she'll be seen or heard debating on things that most Soquili wouldn't bother thinking about. She prefers it that way. Thoughtful, complex, confusing. Those would be the three words to describe this beautiful mare who adores logic more than just about anything else.
Raelle the Wise. That would be an apt title for the Angeni mare that resides in the mountains. Always one to have something to say. Always one to have advice for others when asked. Strangely enough, one would think that Raelle was ruled by reason and logic with such wisdom in her head. This is not the case.
While at times Raelle can be seen taking logical steps with reason full behind them, she's one to prefer doing things completely on impulse. If she has the whim to do something, she will, so long as it doesn't endanger anyone around her. Raelle enjoys taking life as it comes - she's lived far too long to think anything differently. When one has the lifespan of an Angeni, living logically isn't something that's truly needed.

Savai is the grounded part of the duo. He is the voice of reason when Raelle has none or wishes to do something that could be dangerous. He is what keeps her head from floating off into the clouds and keeps her feet on the ground, so to speak.
The hawk isn't very formal - less formal than Raelle seems to be, anyway - but he does have a good head on his shoulders. He has been with Raelle since the beginning of his own life and knows her, perhaps, better than anything else in this world. He sees it as his duty to guard his mistress with his very life and breath. Just as his family has been doing for generations.

Res is the spitting image of her father - perhaps not in looks, but in outlook of life. Just like Khalon, she's heavily bound by honor and duty. Her duty to her family and their image is perhaps the most important thing to the young unicorn. She must be perfect, she must uphold the honor that her father had worked so hard for. She must not fail him.
However, the burden of honor and propriety and perfection gets to her every now and then and the mare goes off alone to let her hair down, so to speak. It was during one of such times that a fatal mistake was made, forcing her to become with child by the stallion named Kishi.
She has, of late, felt as though she's failed her duty as a daughter, soiled her image by becoming with foal outside of mateship, and has become utterly convinced that she is no longer Daddy's little girl. To make up for this, her pride and her duty has been increased tenfold. She is most formal, refuses to allow herself the small freedoms she did before, and has taken it upon herself to restore her honor despite thinking it will never return.
In doing so, she has truly become a noble. The light that was Resonance has temporarily been lost in her attempts to be careful and keep free from more scandal.

Personality: Seija's mother is a very free spirit, refuses to tie herself to anything (as her one true love is the sea) and she was raised with the idea that loving shouldn't be restricted and that one shouldn't confine themselves to the morality of others. (That is, most see polyamory as bad, but just because others see it as immoral does not necessarily mean that it is - one needs to make their own decisions where morality is concerned)
I don't think that Seija could remotely tie herself to only one herself.

Wistful, somewhat a dreamer. Often times gets lost in her own thoughts. Romantic at heart, but cautious about it. Not afraid to show that side, just afraid to fall in love and be 'forgotten'. Doesn't like forgetting things. Suha tries to cling desperately to anything and everything she's introduced to. Unfortunately, within a day, everything fades off to a distant memory. Like an old photograph worn down to barely visible.
More often than not, you can see her walking around and murmuring to herself in attempts to make herself remember - or staring at something that seems familiar that she cannot place.
Personality: Theia's based completely on the sunrise - she's bright, warm, embracing and thinks everyone is special and beautiful in their own way. She tries to see the bright side of everything, even when it seems impossible to do so - but she's not blind to it either. All in all, a happy go lucky flutter who loves everyone and everything and is stubborn on the fact that everyone is deserving of love. She doesn't hold romantic love to a high, high standard so the person she falls in love with would pretty much have to be everything.

Xiu Zhi doesn't have much of a personality plotted out for him at the moment. However, I do know that he's very much a pacifist and has a very easy view of life. He also seems to have uncanny luck at just about anything he tries - even when he's not trying. He's very benevolent and quiet.

Rambunctious and always one to challenge authority. The question of "Why" is ever on their tongue - an almost tiring amount.
Descendent of Anju * Asking "Why" one too many times and being told something about their dark past. This leads to exploring the family's past, and perhaps running into the wrong crowd. * Walking that line between good and evil, perhaps feels self slipping further into darkness.

The eldest daughter, Aurora, and twin to the male basket that you're trying to. Like her father, she insists on taking very little seriously and she has a close bond to her grandma Fortune. Don't take her love of fun and all things silly at surface value, however. Aurora is smart as a whip, and notices everything. She's a crafty little girl, and she drives her parents crazy by remembering everything they may have said in passing, and using it to her advantage.
