A couplet game

together shall we battle and fight the turning tide!

Yes, light will someday return to our life
But the path to get there's of pain and strife

But the light smiles as I strive for its care
And I will not rest till I triumph with it there

So I accept thy invitation to fight for the light
And we'll bring an end to this everlasting night
