A couplet game

Its very rare that you will see
couplets in my poetry

I'm a poet and I know it well
since my youth I write these spells

It's in my mind and in my heart
that I communicate by means of art  

[Sincerely Ophelia]

and actually, let me say
I'm not used to rhyming in this way  

[Sincerely Ophelia]

I use the meter a b a b
and define my stanzas with 4 lines each  

[Sincerely Ophelia]

I have homework, so I need to go
orevwa, bonjour, and adios  

[MzKimmyy]

this game is kind of cool
even though it makes me feel like a fool

wow, these rhymes stretch far as the savanah,
personally it's making me crave a... banana?
