I used to be able to draw art really well, now I have to relearn it because I haven't done any drawing in soo long. But I am an artist of story-making. Currently working on my first book that I hope to publish soon.

anything is art their is no fine line that says this isnt art even though it may not seem like it most things are art to people
like music is a art some poeple like the way machiens sound and some dont
its all in the beholder to discern what they think is art and not to try and make others see their ways of thinking

I paint a little ... and write lyrics

i cannot master any visual medium.

my creative outlet is with music and poetry, so there is my art.

when i view an artwork, i tend toi value it if it is not too cutely self-conscious, such as imitaiton-primitive trying to pretend to be Grandma Moses, or those hideous HTomas Kinkaid things.

it has to have a sense of integrity, of inner authenticity, which i can't explain very well.

One word: Life!

Art is a form of life, it is everywhere and in everyone. Playing a sport is a type of art, cooking, music, arquitecture, TV shows, fashion; Everything!. Art is showing your emotions and who you are, without boundaries and is changing all the time. I particularly enjoy the most drawing my own characters, and such. But I sometimes do paintings, photography, work with glss, sculptures hehehe I am just an 'art freak' XD in a nice way though n.n (one of my favorites ^.^)

Haha, forgot about this discussion. Anyways, here's what I wrote just recently about the subject in an art community that I'm apart of, when the topic was brought up there as well.

I've always believed in defining the scope of my discussion before actually defining anything, but art's a little bit more complicated. What one person takes for granted, someone else put their passion into creating, or not, depending on the object/thing. While one person might see a car, another may take the time to appreciate all the beauty of the frame, the curves of the chassis, the arrangement of the dashboard, the engineering of what's under the hood, the quality of the leather upholstery, the quality of the sound system, and so on until the end of time. Everyone has their own art, their own passion, their own form of expression. Then comes the idea of who sees your art. Like the paradox of the unheard tree that falls in the forest, can it be considered "art" if you don't actually express it to somebody? And not just keeping drawings or poems in a little book beside your bed. Can you consider an idea in your head to be art? You express it to yourself, but no one else, and it has about the same validity as the unseen book as well. I personally like to consider art as what you present to other people, so it excludes random doodles, practices and studies, and all the private stuff. They may have been done as an artist, but without intent, without focus, without a purpose. I suppose one could argue that art doesn't need a point, like candy or video games, but even those have points: to make people happy or feel good or whatever. Art has a similar purpose and utility. That Zefrank guy has it wrong, art's utility, while not always apparent, is INCREDIBLY (note the capitals) important to life and human society. It isn't always beauty, and it isn't always nice, and it isn't always good. But it is absolutely and immeasurably HUMAN. It makes us THINK, it makes us FEEL, and it makes us do everything in between. It is what will be seen of us in the future, and it is what connects us to the past. And if we just take it for granted, it will simply just fade away altogether.
