Personality: Kale is a kind and gentle old soul. He has always been one who can be relied on for advice and support and has a rather bad habit of focusing on other problems to completely block out his own. He's gotten better at that, but when left to his own devices, he'd likely slip back into that old habit. He can be rather stubborn about the most unimportant of things (insisting he couldn't possibly be with his current mate due to the age difference, when she herself had stated it didn't matter), but will bow his head when there is no basis left for him to stand on with grace. He knows when to accept defeat and when to press on.
As a result of some past issues, he's become rather stand-offish. Not in a way that would put him off from other Soquili, but from forming any sort of lasting relationship, he simply refused to become another more than a friendly acquaintance, and kept mostly to himself and his family. With the help of Adrienne, however, he has broken free of that cocoon he had built, and is now a more open, easily-approachable person.
All in all, he's a very kind-hearted old boy, who is quite content to spend the rest of his days with his family in peace, and will do all he can to defend said peace.

Personality: Az is...a rather special individual. Due to various issues from her childhood, she grew up without anyone but her father around her and she was deeply hurt by it. Not that her father wasn't the best he could have been, but the lack of siblings and a mother she knew should have been there for her has deeply affected her. The added bonus of simply disliking herself for being born female and what she considered the inferior half of her species, generally took a toll on her mental well-being.
Eventually she met a stallion who helped her accept herself for who she is and calm her a bit (she was very...easily provoked for a while) and even had two sons with, whom she adores from the bottom of her heart, even if she doesn't show it as often as she probably should.
Nowadays, even if she may be a calmer individual, she's still rather coarse and unafraid to tell you exactly what she thinks of you. She's stubborn, rather outgoing and a very determined creature in general. If she wants something, she'll do whatever she can to get it as long as it won't harm anyone. She has a rather strange concept of how far she will go for something and it really on how much she cares or how much she's goaded into.
As much as she's matured as she's aged from foal to adult with children, she's still very much an immature character and has a great deal still left to learn.

Personality: Originally Rashkae was an ancient being of the Earth from a time in the far distant past who had grown bored of sitting by the sidelines and watching the world go past without being a part of it and so had decided to become a part of the story, rather than just watch as it was woven. The glowing markings that run over the entirety of her body are the lines of energy which were (and still are, technically) under her influence. She along with her siblings have lost the majority of their power considering no one believes in their existence anymore, but they are still capable of affecting the world, though Rashkae forfeited any and all power she could weild for the duration of her mortal life. All she can really do now is sense things, which has no more power to it than a rather good sense of intuition.
She is a very kind creature, and very level-headed. Conflict is not something she enjoys watching or being a part of, though admittedly, if it is for something petty and unimportant, she will find it more amusing than anything else. She's a very mellow creature, willing to accept many things rather than question them, and does her best not to step on toes, even if hers are stepped on. For her, calm diplomacy will get you far farther than rash anger and hasty decisions.
It takes an extraordinary amount of effort to even annoy her and a great deal more to bring her past that. Honestly? The only thing that would truly inspire anything other than vague annoyance would be to threaten to or harm a member of her family. Though she hadn't thought it possible of her to even have children, the fact she does has made her incredibly protective of them and she would know if something had happened to them and to incur her wrath would bring her siblings down upon the instigator which considering the fact they are not bound by a lack of powers, would likely end very badly for the other party. Just saying. (Not that it would ever necessarily happen, and ICly she would do nothing to that effect unless the other party wished it for some reason.)

Personality: Finn is a regular old happily living his life sort of guy. He enjoys spending his days getting into petty trouble (pranks, teasings, that sort of thing) and just generally enjoys squeezing as much fun as he can out of life. His entire day is focused on having as much fun as possible, and at heart, he's still very much the colt he used to be.
Since he's been free of most responsibility with his life (He was raised without the issues both his mother and grandfather have) he's spent most of his time feeling bored and has tried to rectify said bored with playing around.
He's got a good head on his shoulders and a good heart in his chest. His parents having raised him to be an honest stallion and he's never been one for lying about anything or to anyone and as a result he can be brutally honest while meaning the best. He's relatively suave and loves to flirt with the ladies, but can be serious when the situation absolutely requires it, even if he won't like it very much. He's a strong and determined male, and if something he finds important is being threatened he will do his best to protect it. Personality: Fudge is sweet, rather obviously. She's an adorable little softy, who loves being herself. She enjoys the company of others, spending time with her family and just, well, enjoying life. She's calm and collected and is genuinely concerned about others and is always willing to lend a hoof to someone in trouble.
She's a bit naive, but a very good soul and always ready to give you a warm place to stay or a good cheering up. She's always optimistic and nothing can really ever get her down, she's just too bloody happy and content with life. The only real way to get her into any other mood but constant cheerfulness is to do something she absolutely cannot tolerate, which is the harm or insulting of her friends and family. She simply will not tolerate someone treating a person she cares about in an unsavory manner. It simply won't happen in her presence. She isn't one for conflict and tries to avoid it, but if you say or do something with or about her friends which she thinks is insulting them in any way, she will tell you just how she feels on the matter and just how wrong you are.

Personality: A warm and gentle creature, when Nayeli was younger she was quite the adventurous one. With a deep and near all encompassing love of the water and sea, she spent the majority of her time near it. Ever since that time when she was a young foal and the Mersoquili and Kelpi became known to the general Soquili population, she has been fascinated by them and has constantly been on the lookout to meet and interact with one or the other or even both if she was lucky; so it really isn't that much of a surprise at how easily she found herself under the sway of a male Kelpi and found herself with child as a result.
After the birth of her three children and the subsequent years spent with them, she has matured a great deal and has grown past the point of being so easily swayed by anything, let alone as a result of a fascination with a species similar and yet so different than her own. She bears no ill feelings toward the kelpi she met that night, after all, he gave her three beautiful children and indirectly helped her become who she is now. She has changed to a point where she is no longer dependent upon learning about the sea and after her children were grown she has set about exploring areas beyond the beach, though never so far away her children couldn't find her.
She's even grown past the expectation (or really even the desire) for any sort of relationship beyond friendship. Though what happened in her past hasn't sullied her views of romance so much as she's simply stopped thinking about herself even finding something like that. She's put any desire for that sort of relationship to the back of her mind and is much more focused on simply...living and enjoying her time with her family and the friends she has.

Personality: Let me put it quite simply, Amadeus could give a rats a** about how you feel about him. He does not care for your personal opinion on his appearance or your personal feelings about what combination of sub-species he is. Insult him all you like, he really just does not care how you feel. However, should you insult his mother in any fashion, for any reason, you will quickly find yourself on the wrong end of a spear-like spiral horn aimed at a very vital part of your body. You do not insult the only creature he cares so deeply for. His siblings and grandparents he may be fond of, but his mother has a special place in his heart that cannot be any more important. She's pretty much his light in his darkness.
That being said, he's a rather self-focused individual. He's not very talkative, and though he tries to be polite, it's only really evident after he's had a talk with his mother and is determined to actually try to make friends this time to please her. He makes a rather large point that he prefers solitude, however, and has a nasty tendency to make it very clear when he does not want company, which is really just him not wanting to deal with opening himself up to anyone.
He believes himself to be fine the way he is, in the manner of he believes he doesn't want his life to change or alter, but in reality he's really just wondering who'll manage to deal with his attitude to the point of finding the real him beneath it. The majority of his coarse attitude and obvious displeasure with company is a test to see who will stick by him and so far no one has, which has not helped his thoughts on himself or others very much at all.
When you manage to get past the hard, crunchy, displeasing exterior, you'll find a snarky, playful, and generally decent-hearted individual, and once you've gotten him to that point, you're basically stuck with him for life. He's intensely loyal toward anyone who touches his heart that deep, and would never, ever willingly do anything to harm them.
