Okay, so the title doesn't exactly say what I want it to but I don't know how to put it under words. It's just lately, I've been very annoyed by the fact that people who try to kill themselves are saved and people who are waiting to be helped are left to die because they couldn't find any donors. surprised How about just using organs from suicidees to save people who want to live? surprised biggrin
Don't get me wrong, it's not like I want people to kill themselves. surprised It's just tyhat I think it's so weird that people who are like: "I want to die, I'm going to kill myself" get more help and guidance than people who need a new heart and can't get one because there aren't enough 'good' hearts.D< if people who slit their wrists would be donors automatically, a lot of lifes would be saved and a lot of people would be very gratefull. 3nodding
Families of the people who killed themselves probably won't be too happy, but still. The person wanted to die him/herself, so it shouldn't be a problem. Yes! surprised

some people actually become donors and then commit suicide so their family can recive the money, and even in the hospital, it's all about the money.
If the suicidee has rich parent, he will recive treatment before the person who really needs them.
and if you want to commit suicide, meh, go ahead if you think life is really that bad go live in a 3rd world country

I don't want to die just yet. surprised I want to meet my grandchilden first. 3nodding biggrin
I know enough people who DO want to die though. And when they try to kill themselves, they're helped in the hospital and stuff. surprised I think that's wrong. Said person wants to die, don't stop them! There are too many people on this planet as it is!

Well, the way I figure it is that if the person wants to die, then they should learn how to do it properly so that they are not saved. I do not promote suicide, but still, if someone wants to dief, they should do it correctly so that they do die. Then, since I believe that suicide is a crime, they punishment could be that their organs are used to help save other lives.

I dunno .. in theory it sounds okay, but in practice it starts seeming pretty terrible.
I just think that it doesn't work like that. It isn't one life for another. If there is absolutely no hope of saving the suicidal person ... then that's great, but otherwise I don't think so.

 We are the music makers I would think that the family of the person who killed them self would take comfort in knowing that the person's death was not a complete waste. I would be a donor of any of my parts no matter how I die...I won't need them anymore...I'll be dead! And we are the dreamers of dreams

If a person becomes weary of life, and wishes to finally rest, you should let them. Let them die, so that someone who really wants to live, can. It is incredibly cruel to do anything else.

i totally get what you're saying...
but when people are saved from suicide, they never really wanted to commit suicide in the first place. so part of them wants to live and maybe just wanted the attention.
if they really wanted to die, they would get it over with.
