Zack fair18 Hanami10 though I never read it(the bible) in its entirety, some of the biblical stories(oversimplified of course) that I HAVE read really don't make sense as you said... so why are there so many die-hard christians who believe in every word that is printed in the bible? question cause no one can prove who made the bible and they think it all came from god and mostly because of how they were raised.
Actually real Christians believe that the Bible is INSPIRED by God but written by his disciples, and also people from the Old Testament. And the Bible does make sense, its people who don't want to believe and understand and those who don't understand and have never been told the truth about it who think that it doesn't make sense.

Larghaz Banana_Fuzzle Good arguments. However, could it be that the Bible is not meant to be taken literally? Exactly, the Bible is filled with symbolisms and hidden meanings, just like when Jesus said something to the effect of "Eat my body and you shall have eternal life." He didn't actually mean for us to eat him as he is; sweatdrop he also didn't mean that people who do so will stay alive forever.
he has a point there
