She has a compassion for life, and everyone in it and isn't afraid to let it be known. Her love is strong, and heart large as can be for all of her family and her herd. This love evolves at time, and had allowed her to love a number of children they've adopted like they were her own, even the children of her herdmates often fall under her loving nature - Ikinya is happiest around others and spreading her ideal of kindness and affection. Yet the mare isn't all feely, Ikinya has an inate courage, stemmed from her core desire to protect her ideals. She steps up to any challenge presented to her, and despite her drawbacks at times thanks to her stature and lack of magic will give it her all till she succeeds. A gentle leader of her herd, the mare has the wisdom to know when to take charge and when to simply aid with a gentle nudge in the right direction she takes this role very seriously despite having her rock, Cuauhcoatl beside her to help if ever needed. However, Ikinya often is faced with conflict from her head and her heart; and can often hold a lot of her own needs and desires in and secretive for the good of others - a bit self sacrificing in a way. Often she breaks down privately, but all in all her happiness knows no bounds and she is only mortal - after all. Biography: Ikinya was born into a small village deep in the heart of Africa, where there were many Usdia work horses thanks to their small stature and not needed to consume as much as a herd of regular breeds. She lived with humans, but longed for a new world - one where she could be free to do as she pleased and didn't need to rely on the humans as much as she did with her herd. There came a day when her parents, drawing further and further past their primes were taken by force from the village in the dead of night; which was a hard blow for the only surviving sibling of her litter. No one knew what became of them, but Ikinya after over a year of no word...had to assume they were dead after seeing nothing but hoof prints and muddied drag marks which washed away during the storm that night. It was after the loss of her parents that her dream slowly shifted into a insatiable desire - one she would satisfy or die trying. It was a dream which finally was realized when there was talk about a boat sailing to discover new lands...and she knew this was her only shot to live such a dream. Stowing away, she set sail....Adventure was on the horizon.
Upon arriving to the mainland, Ikinya had spent a little time at the ocean once she snuck back off the boat. Exploration of a vast new world with many kinds of environments kept her mind busy and her excitement quenched...that was till she ran into an Angeni named Cuauhcoatl. The pair enjoyed each other's company, and upon a incoming storm had gifted the Usdia the chance to fly - riding on his back to his longhouse. Having never seen such sights from around the world, she was both amazed and enthralled...learning more about the fascinating stallion who could transform into a human - and about his heritage. During a moment of weakness he'd comforted her...and slowly, something began to change in the mare.
Eventually the parted ways, thanks to uncertainty in her feelings; and it wasn't long after he left that she realized the extent of her emotions...she was falling in love with the Angeni; and decided then and there she was going to go back and tell him no matter the outcome. After a long journey of trials and tests, she found an abandoned Usdia basket nestled in the last stretch of the mountains up to Cuauh's longhouse, and no sooner did she find herself face to face with a Bearwalker intent on a meal. Very intelligent, but quick to judge on the basis of good and evil he has the hardest time with his brother, Darius - a mutant child adopted after him. While he deep down loves the guy, its created a innate stress which refuses to let go of Adom and has consumed him like a plague. To call him a worry wart would be a understatement but as a stubborn male he keeps his problems and worries quiet - for the most part. Growing into himself when his first batch of foals were born he's rather noble when he needs to be, offering wisdom and guidance to anyone who needs it. Its hard to tell what's going through his head but he's not a bad fellow; he just gets too bored too easily and often has a fascination with darker things. He's got a thing for skulls, and can be often seen venturing out and sticking his nose into graveyards or other spooky places for a sense of adventure for such a tiny thing. He is full of good times and despite it all has a courageous sense of loyalty in leaps and bounds. He lives life in the fast lane, and wants to live it up while he is young!
Anansi is the self proclaimed 'super cool' older brother of his family unit. xxxxxI don't know what the future holds...but it looks a little brighter than it had before with time spent with Titan.
Personality: Hisako is a small filly with a big heart. While she may be deformed outside, there is nothing but love for her family swelling in that little heart of hers. She's a little unsure of what her purpose is in life per say, coming from a family of brave warriors and hunters. While she is perhaps a little hard on herself thanks to her fragility, the filly is gracious to feel the love her family has for her in her life and is eager to offer one of the only gifts she can give to anyone - love and affection.

Biography: Born from the love between Amaya and Shyam the little filly knew nothing but love, well, that and a long lived curse. When she was born the trickery of the hallow's eve spirit and the eyes of the gods looked down upon the three little foals...and it was there where the story really began. Upon her birth came the pain, pain of which she'd never known as a disease began to ravage her body, starting at her nose as well as one of her for-hooves. The disease mysteriously began to disintegrate and eat at her flesh, much to the horror of her first time parents. Although the intensity of the pain was horrible for the filly she took it in stride...her siblings weren't much better with painful spikes erupting from her sister's body and a mane of fire constantly burning her brother. Luckily for Hisako, they were able to stop the spread of the disease on her leg by clamping her leg before the disease could spread any higher with a metal cuff; stopping her loss at her knee. However her muzzle was another story, she wouldn't be able to eat or speak if they clamped it shut, so instead it had been wrapped in blessed bandages to slow its spread to a halt but it had already claimed so much. All was not lost though, she kept her life and found the sunny side of her dark curse, having the ability not to be burned or stabbed when cuddling with her siblings thanks to her bone snout. It was a rough beginning for the little filly and her siblings, but the promise of brighter days just around the bend.
