So, I, DOOFUS MAXIMUS!, am working on learning PHP and MySQL. I already know HTML. Any Tips and things I need to know? And if anyone has html questions, just pm me! I look for Help needed posts on This board to! mrgreen

Trying to learn PHP and MySQL, as much as people say, don't work that well with HTML.
It was a lot easier for me to understand PHP when i had completely disregarded HTML.
other than that... I can't help you that much...

it's a form of internet coding used to display pages, along side of HTML. It's more complex, but easier to customize.

is coding used in making video games? if so i wold like to learn to do this coding thing so i can make video games.

and i think it would be a lot harder to make a videogame than the codes used for a computer...

yes, coding is used in video games. It's called C++ coding. They use it in robotics too.
and it's not really that much harder, it's just more detailed, and it moves.
PHP coding is harder to learn, but it's worth it. Just make sure that you remember specific commands, because some of them look alike, and it turns out bad if you mistake a command.

Its a server side scripting language based on C++ and is usually used to generate dynamic web pages and process forms
