Well, when Iraq got its independence from Britain in 1932, the British retained their military bases there. The United Kingdom invaded Iraq again in 1941. And the US was part of the Persian Gulf War in 1991, when Iraq invaded Kuwait. So there has been quite a history of foreign troups in Iraq, before they decided to look for weapons of mass destruction. Thats what I meant by before whee

Well as far as I know there where no foreign military force in Iraq when they got blamed for WMDs...
