This will get out of the way any OOC that may occur, first, I will make the opening IC post once we have four other members. Forum rules in effect, and I should note now this is an adult thread, so unless it becomes an issue, adult language is alloud. The theme of this RP is survival.

:::::Background Story:::::

....2445 AD, Earth's resources have been fully tapped out, in short, the world was dieing, and dieing fast. A call was sent out to scientists within Earth, to discover what to do about this crisis. Eventually the planet's scientists discovered that Earth's resources were tapped out, and the decay was due to this. The United States devised a way to transport the people of Earth to transport themselves to another world, the first of the new space ships created was called a Colony Ship. Now that the means to leave earth was established, the focus came to determining a new habitable planet. A new planet was found, and dubbed Earth II. Now that a world had been found, the colony ship, dubbed Second Ark, left Earth. The journey lasted 100 light years deep within the Andromeda system. Eventually, the colony ship settled down upon the surface of the new world, and a colony was erected.

Earth II was scoured by recon forces and mercenary scouts, until the second of the colony ships made landing. The gathered democrats, beurocrats, and communists fought over the type of government that Earth II would inhabit, until a surprise visit from an undiscovered race, humanoids called Cnosis(Kno-sess-is) arrived within the capital building. Their arrival was mysterious, as was their means, until a prominent figure, whose name to the date of this digital archive is unknown, stood fast in the group. From this chance meeting the Earth Federation, or EFC, was founded. During this time the advances in technology was unfounded by any other period of human advancement. Cnosis dissent with the EFC grew as more and more miners were executed for being rogue sympasizers, until the Cnosis had enough, and declared war upon the EFC. The EFC begin the war on an agressive front. They used their nuclear technology to devistate Cnosis homeworlds, and their fleet far outnumbered Cnosis fleet. When all had seemed lost, the Cnosis used the Psion Emitter, a sattelite who had the ability to control a planet's weather, thus destroying the surface of Earth II.

The humans, with their only home destroyed, and now with the Cnosis destroying their fleet, created three colony fleets, Eldritch 1, Eldritch 2, and Eldritch 3. The idea was to leave in seperate directions, gather military forces, and make their way to a rendevouz point. Soon the Cnosis learned of the plot, and their most powerful psionists are working to this day to locate the three fleets.

H.P.G.S. - Short for Heavy Positron Gear System, it is a heavy mecha than runs upon a positron generator. It was the first step away from electricity, into a new Direction. The latest H.P.G.S. is M-107 MP(Mass Production model), which is the first model created mainly for mass production. M-107 Image

Positrons - Innitially designed to break free of electrical systems, positrons used in rifle designs and blade designs have been extremely successful.

OOC: Alright, let's start our engines.

~Alpha Centauri System~

The Eldritch II, one of the three colony ships designed to finding a new home, spewed forth from the PTN Column that spanned forth, it's massive berth being closely followed by five EFC Cruisers and a sparse seven EFC Destroyers. The loose network of battleships closed around the Eldritch II as all ships maneuvered forwards towards the Alpha Centauri System. The Eldritch II was on this system due to the fact that a M-4(Earthlike) planet was within this system, and if there was such a planet within the system that is could become a potential new home for the colonists amongst the Eldritch II's City Sector and could bolster the EFC's need for new colonies as well. Either way, it was a worthwhile trip, however there were about to be a few sacrifices. The seven destroyers broke formation, dispersing their M-107 H.P.G.S. payload as photon cannons came online and fired forth. The Cnosis had arrived within the Alpha Centauri system first, and four Cnosis Battlecruisers were closing in. A concentrated blast from one of the battlecruisers took out two of the seven detsroyers and tossed them into Alpha Centauri's orbit. The destroyers were soon crushed by the gravity of the massive star.

"All pilots to Hangar Bays, I repeat; all pilots to hangar bays. Man your stations, we are under red alert, I repeat..." spoke Admiral Almahd of the Eldritch II as fighters and M-107's from other ships began to disperse into the mix. Cnosis Fighters were deployed in response to the imposing threat as the cruisers returned fire however weren't able to punch through the Photon Shields of the four battlecruisers. Communications officers were sending messages to any nearby ship for assistance. Cnosis Landing Pods were latching onto the hull of the Eldritch II. The soldiers from within the ship would have to fend them off along with the security emplacements such as rotating prositron turrets strategically placed.

~The Elsa~

"Sir! Incoming hail from the Eldritch II!" said the young communications officer, as Yuki leaned forwards slightly, responding.

"On screen, Hammer." said Yuki, and the form of Admiral Almahd formed infront of them, expanding onto the viewscreen. Yuki glanced to the Science OFficer at the radar terminal before turning to face the Admiral. "What can I do for you, Admiral?"

"The Eldritch II is under attack by the Cnosis, we need assistance Captain." The admiral retorted, his face looking grim. So this was the reason that they had called, Yuki would have to respond to this no doubt and aid the Eldritch II; after all the fate of humanity lied within the success of the Eldritch Project. "Rojer that, Admiral. Setting a course for Alpha Centauri. We'll be there in thirty minutes."

"Roger, Captain...and thanks." The screen flickered as the Viewscreen focused on the Eldritch II and the battlescreen. Yuki rose from his seat and turne on the shipwide speakers as the floodlights flashed red. "This is your captain speaking. In thirty minutes we are going to Rendesvous with the Eldritch II to aid it against the Cnosis. We are going to do everything in our power for Admiral Almahd. Engineers and Mechanics, make sure all H.P.G.S. are ready, and all systems are go. Everyone else, report to battle stations." Yuki sat down back in the captain's roost as the P.T.N. Column openned infront of them.

Blane gave up trying to get around the egineers, and headed back to her room. Ofcourse she was one of the best snipers on the ship, she tended to not listen to anyone. 'I wonder what Veritas is up to.' She thought laying on her bed. She didnt have a key to the comunication to call him either.

With a frustrated sigh Blane was out of the room. She wanted to know where Veritas was. After all he never seemed to know how to keep himself organized. She Passed by a fellow soldier who was buising himself with his orders. She was supior to him. He bowed his head to her not wanting any trouble. "Blane, do you need into the comunication room?" The soldier standing by the door began to sweat. "Yeah do you mind?" She nodded to the door. "Yes ma'am." He began to press in the code to the door. Instantly she knew it. She sat in the chair. Giving a sigh she sent out a message to him, hoping he'd pick it up.

"Veritas, how are you? I'm on The Elsa. Where are you?" Blane questioned into the microphone.
