so that next time it gets
wounded, it does not hurt as much

Dream of a Dream

Dreamers can die,
Dreams do not.

Dreamers believe they can fly higher than the clouds,
Dreams do not.

Dreams know no bounds,
Dreamers are trapped by society.

Yet without the one the other cannot exist,
Bound eternally together by the ficklest of fates.

So without the dreamer,
What becomes of the dream?

Would they float away?
Like a balloon without an anchor?

Or disappear forever,
With a phosphorescent flare?

Perhaps like an ember,
Dimming in the shadows?

These answers are not known to me,
So I shall speak my mind,

Dreamers can die,
Dreams do not.

Darkness:

darkness creeps in as the sun retreats to its resting place
darkness seeps into your pours and awakens within
crawling in the darkness like a deaf bat in a maze
discovering yourself feeling like new
you cry in the dark but nobody can hear
for the darkness has left you alone, broken in its solitude
clawing to find your way out you only fall deeper into its grips
the fear of being alone, you hope to atone for your sins
but the darkness has came like a thief in the night and consumed your sins
tearing at you soul you realise your sins
not freddy, not pinhead, no demon could ever pose fear
for the greatest fear is of ourself

Just a Thought

I reach past the stars.

I'm not afraid to dream.

live my life with a bit of reckless abandon; as if no one's looking..

Second chances are rare.. Life's never a fairy tale.

And love.. Well, love is love.

It comes and goes, and you're never the same.

Love is never wrong, and so it never dies..

We can never understand why we mortals fall in love..

Love is not unreasonable; its reasons are simply beyond the scope of human comprehension.

Ive always told myself..

Id rather take the risk to see if were meant for each other or not..

Rather than live the rest of my life never knowing what if.

If were meant to be, all well and good, but if were not, Ill be satisfied with knowing that at least we tried..

I've grown, matured, thought about a lot of things.

And well, I've decided.

Life's good.

Even if it's annoying, stupid, tiring or just plain ******** up sometimes..

There are a lot of things to live for.

Life's simply..

Amazing.

Yup, definitely.

Lyss shall try now.

Glistening, shining.
Your scales are a wonder to those below.
As you dip and swerve, cutting clouds in half and making shapes,
The dots below not knowing of their fate to be.

Soon, you drop too low to be safe-
Hunger rattles through your being.
As you see the dots stop and stare,
That shiny body of yours goes into a full dive.

The dots soon turn into peasants.
As they see you falling at full speed,
Most run for the castle that lays atop a hill.
Some stay to fight- to give their wives some time.

But Alas! You go through the wooden village,
Smashing and burning the feeble homes.
As people inside burn alive, their screams emanating from the flesh,
Your glistening scales shine ever more brightly from the fires.

When all is said and done,
The village is destroyed.
Blood covers the field like rain-
A finger lays here, a torso over there.

You lay sleepily on your stomach,
Those scales of yours still glistening in the sun.
Your head lifts swiftly at the sound of a gasp.
A little girl, no more the age of five stares at the carnage ensued from the safety of the wood.

As your head full of sapphires and emeralds touches the ground,
You feel the little girl approach.
She is of no harm to you- allowing her to climb onto your back and sleep.
You sleep, as well-
Those scales of yours still glistening and shining in the dying sun.

sugar sandblasts my stomach,
energy replenished,
eyes lose focus,
a palsied twitch,
another, and again,
belting out a war woop I split the barrier of reality,
bloodlust!
opponent...FIGHT!
blow after blow we rain down mercilessly on the enemy,
spin kick,
a blow to the head,
SHIK,SHIK,SHIK!
needles?
power surges into my hand,
a mighty warsword appears,
I raise it high-a salute to Ares,
only one shall leave...
it shall be me!
I strike,
my quarry is found,
hell-forged steel sates its thirst on his lifeblood,
bone shatters,
it is over...I have won!
lethargy ambushes my soul,
limbs heavy...
man, I love sugar!!!
