Ok, I was just listening to the song Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne, and I decided to try out the Japanese version.
IT TOTALLY PWNS THE ENGLISH VERSION
I like the Japanese version better than English. I know many of you may not like that song in particular, but what about other songs? Do you have a favorite song that you like in another language?
Please post! 3nodding

I like Fukai Mori. It's a soundtrack from Kingdom Hearts or something... I think. My friend gave it to me one day and I really liked it. I also like Four Seasons, another soundtrack song. And a good English/Japanese song, maybe Simple And Clean. I have both versions of it. ><

I can't choose between Japanese and English. One sounds awesome, the other I can actually understand. Midori Hayashi Ok, I was just listening to the song Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne, and I decided to try out the Japanese version. I'm curious as to what the Japenese version sounds like.

Hm it all depends, i like avrils song never heard the jap version i might give it a try. But i love jpop so much exspecially anime songs i sing them even though there not in english makes my fiancee laugh but they sound much better that way. But some songs i prefer in english and some in jap it all depends on the song to be honest.

I am now hooked on the Spanish version too. My friend is from Mexico, so she taught me. And I have Spanish class, so that helps. My parents think I am wierd when I start ranting on in Japanese or Spanish.

Angelic_Highlights ive noticed if i watch something in english and then move to jap it just does not sound right and vice versa it is really annoying. I watch Naruto in Japanese for instance, and I like the Japanese voices better than the English ones. Just my opinion. Especially Kiba. heart

@ Devil Plays The Fiddle: I agree...both versions of this song are bad.
@ Black Fire Ninja: French and Israeli rap are a million times more powerful, meaningful and cooler sounding than in English. And Japanese rap is cool, too. Those languages flow a lot better than English. I despise the majority of American rap.
