Child's Play Waiting for you everyday, Wanting to come out and play So I sit here and make cranes 1000 in the goal that I strain To get to that number So I can make my wish! And you came along to help Talking with your eyes to me Such a nice little boy, My eyes do see. I can not tell you my thoughts How pretty I think you are to me, With lovely wings for all to see. I shall help you make your cranes For 2000 is number to gain. Your wish is to fly And mine to touch the stars! Your voice is soft and makes me smile Dizzy with pleasure and a little sappy. Together with you makes me happy. We shall play together, You and I, us little kids. Making our cranes to last forever, So we may get our wish. You were my first friend, I like you the best!
