The forests had been dark for many hours now. Looking at her watch Jaquin noticed it was three in the morning. After a two hour shift of watching over her team in their hide away in a tree over looking the base that held the dictator of Honori her eyes became heavy. Tracy was watching over the team with her, or she was supposed to be at least. Tracy, the co-captain of D-squad, had fallen asleep after the first fifteen minutes and was just now waking up. "What time is it?" Tracy yawned as if she really didn't care. "Three, you fell asleep." Jaquin replied. "You look worse than usual. Have you been drinking something to stay awake?" "I added caffine tablets to my ramen." At the mere sound of the word ramen Tracy shuddered. She was really the only person in the entire team and academy they came from that didn't like ramen. "Why don't you go to sleep, I'll wake you up in fifteen minutes." "I would appreciate that, thanks." So Jaquin nodded off. In her deep sleep she saw nothing but blackness. No dreams or nightmares floated about in her trained mind. Dreams were frivolous and distracting, Ninja and protectors of the amazing Kingdom of Sevils were to always be alert. Suddenly she awoke to cold steel on her cheek and the smell of gun powder.
"You know, I never liked being apart of Sevils." Tracy said with a smirk of triumph. Jaquin looked around with her adjusted eyes to find all of her team tied up and blood splattered on the walls that now collected into small pools. An AK-47 was the cold metal she felt on her cheek. A shiver sent down her spine as Tracy spoke again,"And that Amerra girl irratated me so." It was a betrayel against the people who had taken Tracy in after a terrible war that her parents died in. She was once a royal but chose then to fight to protect her proud land. Just as the trigger was being pulled a throwing knife hit her hand and she dropped the gun. With that, the tables had turned in favor of the team leader Jaquin. With a swift move she had grabbed her blade customized only for her and shoved it against Tracy's throat. The inlaid semi-precious stones glinted the words "Too Late" in the moon light in the five different languages and into Tracy's eyes. Suddenly there was a crash.
The wall holding Tracy's weight gave way into the jungle but Tracy was brought up by a flying craft with the symbols of Honori. The enemy's symbols glinted in the brilliant moonlight that had blinded the two only a few minutes earlier. "You are a blood traitor! A sick sadistic blood traitor going against your dead parents!" Jaquin shouted into the night as Tracy floated away and back to the targeted castle of the enemy. Jaquin then went to untie the team she had let down. The blood was that of Ammera, the youngest member. She wasn't breathing and there was no chance to save her poor soul.
