'He knew. He knew what I was. He abandoned them. Abandoned me.' He just rolled it over and over in his mind. Over the years, he'd learned the lore of the world he had inadvertantly become a part of. Cain knew the reason his father avoided him when he came home that night. Why he had escaped death. Cain also knew why he was bitten. 'Targeted. I was targeted. That werewolf had been hunting.' His mind snarled in disgust st the thought of that dog. 'It knew I'd go there! It knew I would change that night! It knew that I'd---!'
Sun burned into the blinds. Even with them closed, the sunlight illuminated the room. *"Ah...yii."* 'Morning. Bright, sunny, and cold.A perfect moring for breakfast.' With this sarcastic-dipped thought, Cain slipped out the door. This time he ran down the hall, its dirty gren walls blurred by as he raced to the open door. Two steps through that door, his hands on the rail, He threw himself off the landing. Coming to a halt with a soft thud on the ground floor, he slid out the stair door.

Once again, night was falling. Still a few hours away, but one such as Cain could feel it long before the sun began to sink. 'Wonder what the weather's gonna be like this week. Ah.' Looming but a block away was just what he wanted. 'Bar, dead ahead.' Dragon's Death Bar was a local spot. Enough people came that Bernie, the bar tender, had enough sense to install several tvs to entertain his customers. On a night like tonight, people would want to know the weather for the next day, at least. He'd get an answer to his question, if that is, he could manage to not get kicked out. (Bernie wasn't too keen on having nobodies like Cain inside his bar.)

Explainations:
*"Ah...yii."*: This is really nothing but gibberish. Basically Cain is expressing his disgust at the sun breaking his concentration in a subtle way. Not to mention it was also blinding to him just like when someone decides to turn the lights on in a dark room.----we groan or grunt when they do that.
*Big blank space: This is just to show that I didn't feel like writing out his entire, boring, day. It was simpler for me to just jump to the next major event. If you want I can type it up later.
