Whatever my mind happens to be snarky about.
It's a given that this is my journal. And it should be known that I don't know what else to put in here. So, I guess......Well, I love hats. I have a tiedye bucket hat, tiedye hat with rabbit ears on it. I also have this huge witch hat! It's black wi
A Writer's Mind
A Writer’s Mind

You know you have a writer’s mind when you start to write all the time. You jot down everything that pops into your head, like story ideas, or some little scene for a book. But no, that’s not good enough for you, is it now? You want everything to be a story, even your very own life! Any normal person would think, “I wish I had a cell phone. I don’t get why my parents won’t let me have one.” But you? You’re so not normal. You don’t use “I” when you think. Instead, you use “he” or “she”. You think something like, “She couldn’t stand to see everyone using their flashy new cell phones. It was a wonder as to why her parents wouldn’t let them have one.”
When you think, your thoughts involve moments like a story would. You think, “Her legs began to shake as she walked up to the principles office.” Any normal person would think, “I’m so nervous. I wonder what they want with me anyway.”
Also, you know you have a serious problem when you find yourself switching points of view! You find it fun to think in third person or an omniscient point of view. Don’t forget second person. That one is always interesting. When you want a challenge you think in first person. Normal people think in first person, but they don’t think about movements like walking. They think something like, “I can’t believe I’m actually doing this!” Do you think like that? No! You make your thoughts so that a reader can understand them. You think something like, “I couldn’t believe that a sensible person like me would be walking through a dangerous alley-at night!”
Things are really bad when you start correcting you own grammar. You rethink a thought so that it sounds good when someone reads it. And why are you doing this again? No one’s ever going to hear, or even read your thoughts. Well, not unless you somehow get famous and get your diary published, but what would it matter then? You’d be dead! Anyway, I don’t think you have any reason to think as if you were a story and someone was going to read it. Not only are you so uninteresting, but you’re a complete nut case! I’m surprised that you haven’t been put into a mental institution yet.
“Um excuse me, may I see this?” asked Mr. Looney. She wondered what Mr. Looney thought of her paper. The class had been told to write down their thoughts. She wasn’t sure why, but she had done as she was told.
“My Gosh!” Mr. Looney exclaimed. “No wonder you’re in this institution.”

I would like to say that I'm not making fun of writers. I think like this, too.
