Alright, I'm back to bring you a VERY short chapter. Yay! * everything is quiet* Whatever, I've gotta go to work soon anyway. -_- Anyway, the thing about last chapter is that is used to be longer, AND I totally changed it from it's original version, and I wanted to see how the revised version looked when I posted it. ( the old one's lieing around some where...probably eating some potatoe chips and watching Spongebob Squarepants.) But it certainly didn't help move the plot and motivate Axel like I had wanted, so I changed it. But enough blabbering from me, this is the seventh VERY short chapter, and when I get back from work, I might be able to post the next chapter before I have to go to bed. ( I can't believe I have to get up at five or six in the morning tomarrow...*cries*) This will be post under the author of Sam034 on fanfiction.net.
The Problem With Everburning [The Very Short] Chapter Seven
He dashed off, deeper and deeper into the smoke, so deep that he couldn't even see his hands in front of his face. But he knew he was going the right way. Because smoke always gathered at an opening- The moment he thought this he had dived into bright light and clear air. He stumbled a little bit and looked back. What he found was that he had stepped through the Library door and ended up a little to the right of it. And being as he was in a hallway, all the windows that lined the hallway were open. Making the place where he stood somewhat clear. Clear enough to summon his chakrams? More than likely. Now what? " Axel?" He turned around and found the Basement Buddies:Vexen, Zexion, and Lexaus. And another Organization member was present too. " Xaldin!" He cried. " What now porcupine?" He said as he glared at Axel. The two weren't exactly friends, mainly because Xaldin was a much more higher rank than Axel, but for some reason Xemnas always assigned Xaldin for Axel's partner with his missions. Axel gave him a sheepish smile, " I don't suppose you can use you're Divine Wind, perhaps?" " What kind of question is that?" Xaldin growled. " I need your help for a second." Axel stated as he tugged on Xaldin's sleeve. The guy had to be two feet taller taller than him. " Where are you guys going?" Asked Lexaus, he was never really bright. Like Axel sometimes. " I dunno, ask Zexion." Axel replied as he barrowed Xaldin for a moment. " Where do you think they're going?" Lexaus asked Zexion. "...." Zexion said. " I can't hear you. Could you repeat that?" "...." " I'm sorry, you're still going to have to say it just a BIT louder." "..................." "Louder." "......................................................................." " Vexen can you hear what Zexion is saying?" " OH you dope! They're going to take care of Demyx's Everburning-doll-house-problem!" Vexen yelled, and then he added, " And by now you should now that Zexion NEVER talks!!!" " Oh, I thought he just didn't like me." Lexaus sobbed. " Now why would you say that?" Vexen asked irritated. " Because he said so." Lexaus pouted. " He. Never. TALKS!!!" Vexen screamed, then he said in a sarcastic tone, " RIGHT, Zexion? " ....I hate everyone..." " See?-Wait what'd you just say?"
" Xigbar, what exactly did you and Axel talk about?" Larxene asked severly. It was the first time Xigbar had actually seen Larxene concerned for another human being. " Nothing. " He said flatly. It had only been maybe a little more than ten minutes since Axel left, and Larxene had already identified Xigbar as a target to torement. " Tell me the whole story!" She was starting to sound like a gossip whore. " He just said he was sorry about the doll house. Then I told him it was too late to be saying sorry, and that was it." He justified, not intimidated at all by her, though he probably should've. " Your so dense." Larxene spat. " I think he deserved it..." Demyx chimed in as he sat on the ground, watching the little burning shutter Axel had left behind. Bingo sat beside him with a sad and bored look on its face. " Yeah...he probably did." Larxene said in a irritable tone. " And in anycase, " Demyx went on, " did any of you ask him to help find the exit?" " No, why?" Larxene said blatantly. " It's not like he knew." " You never asked him if he did." " What? " Demyx sighed, " Lets back track. Remember when Axel had to go to the bathroom, and he found it and came right back?" " Yeah so?" Larxene scoffed. By this time Xigbar had already caught Demyx's drift, and slapped his forehead in stupidity. " Don't you think he'd have remembered how to get out? Or at least have a general idea where the exit was? " Demyx pressed. " Axel? Yeah right-" Larxene started, but stopped when she thought about it a little more. " Damnit..." They sat in silence for a while, wondering why they hadn't asked for Axel's help even if he was a little dim in mind. Then Demyx titled his head in curiousity said, " Hey Xigbar..." " What?" He asked as Demyx pointed to something behind him. When Xigbar looked over his shoulder, he found that the smoke had a certain faint glow in the direction Demyx was pointing. " How much you wanna bet it's Axel?" Demyx asked, unable to hide his grin.
