Ino is part of Asuma's Team 10 along with Choji and Shikamaru, or the Ino-Shika-Cho team, much like her father's team. Ino is the long time friend of Sakura Haruno. Although friends, they are also very close rivals, awkwardly because they both have a crush on Sasuke.
Ino has the ability to control ones mind. During her battle with Sakura in the third stage preliminaries of the Chunin exam, Ino used her mind control technique to cause Sakura to quit. But that didn't work, and the two ended up blowing a double KO to each other. Ino along with is partner Shikamaru and Choji was sent by Tsunade to help Naruto in his search for Mizuki, after a prison break. She was able to arrive in time and save Naruto.
Her favorite food is small tomatoes and pudding. She is an out-going person and loves to go shopping.
