It's been a while since my last entry. Almost a month. sweatdrop
On June 8, I finished my quest for a Zombie G CORP Tshirt. If I hadn't had that part of my quest, I wouldn't have gone after it, because of its asking price. (44,000 gold and higher) I really found that item to be price jacked because its companion item, the Human G CORP Tshirt wasn't any where near that price. Still 45,000 gold is better to pay than 73,000 gold, which was the price on May 18, 2005.
However, that shirt has made me less inclined to hurry up and finish my remaining quests. In fact, I don't have anywhere near the dedication to do so since I went after that shirt. It's like I've become disenchanted. Yet, I'd still like to finish this quest, simply because I started it and want to finish it. The drive may not be as strong as before, but it could improve with time. And while I wait for that to happen, I continue onward (albeit slowly) in my quest for a March 2004 letter. Potentially I could buy it this month. However, because of my indifference, it could be July.
I'm currently focusing my attention to the Official Quest Guild. Over the weekend, I updated a couple of sticky threads and cut out the abandoned or complete or I-have-no-idea-if-the-quests-are-ongoing-or-not quest posts from the quest thread. The thread went from going on to page 6 to only filling page 2 two-thirds. Wow. Aside from making it easier for donators and bumpers to find those questers who are actively seeking their item (or items), I did it so that I can find quest threads to bump and donate to.
I'm borrowing KasumiAngel's charity idea and as of yesterday, June 12, I began to bump SailorGundam06's and SPMito's threads. My goal is to give them 1,000 bumps over the course of a week and then donate 1,000 gold to them each, 2,000 gold to KasumiAngel (so that her charity can be successful), and 2,000 gold for the Guild. (I make about 3 gold per bump). I also choose a third person to bump and donate to, however Am_I_God doesn't have a quest thread. Considering that I cannot bump either SailorGundam06's or SPMito's thread this morning because of some sort of hard drive issue, I'm glad Am_I_God doesn't have a quest thread. (Or maybe she has and I just haven't found it yet).
The only other thing to add at this time is my response to pokemaster62 (but why I can't find that person in the Memberlist confuses me).
I
Hi pokemaster62. The Guild is certainly looking for people who will be around often. However, we have only one permitted bumping thread (it's called If you wanna BuMp, here is the place!!!), because recent threads can always be found on the first page and the Guild prefers not to have bumping threads. So by all means, if you'd like to bump in that thread, you may. We also have a stickied thread listing various questers, whom I'm sure would like to have their thread bumped in the Charity/Quests forum, if that interests you.
We look forward to you being a part of our Guild!

I hope that once I accept him into the Guild, that I will be able to pm this message, because the Guild isn't supposed to be a place to bump away. True, we have a bump thread and that's all we want to have. The Guild isn't that busy to warrant having someone bumping beyond that one thread. It shall be very interesting to see how things go. I'm sure it'll be good, but still, I'm curious if it'll be all that good or if the start will be a wee bit bumpy. whee
Edit :: Oh, and a post that I need to keep for notes. I'll edit it tonight; I just don't have the time this morning. It's very good though. Since Lurve has returned, she's really come up with great ideas. 3nodding

I hope you don't mind, Members and Crew, that I'm sending out a few PMs a day to random members that I never see this message:
[If you guys don't want me to do this, please tell me. <3]
[Edit// I'm making sure I'm not sending out any PMs to new members]
Hey!
I just wanted to inform you, that the Offcial Quest Guild has lived! whee We were hoping that you would come back and post a bit more!
Sorry if this Pm is a bother!

No, I don't think it's a bother. It's a good idea actually, but "has lived"? That's past tense, isn't it? Wouldn't that imply we're...dead now? whee How about "...Quest Guild's activity has revived/increased!" Oh, no wait, perhaps this would be better: has increased activity! Hmm. That's not quite what I was thinking. Hmm. (There should be a thinking emoticon, you know. That would come in handy here.) Okay, here I go:
Hi!
I want to let you know that the Official Quest Guild is bubbling again with activity! whee (Hey wait a minute! "were"? That's past tense too! Did we already give up on them returning? sweatdrop ) We're hoping that you will return and chat with us more! We'd sure like to see you again and look forward to your return!
Have a great day!

How does that sound (less the stuff in brackets and with the actual link to the OQG, of course mrgreen )? It's a little more bold and assertive, yes?
