yesterday my dad and i put up the christmas lights outside. we were out from 1pm-7pm because we had so many lights! my dad was out for so long that his fingers turned blue! he made me go in the house every once in a while so i wouldnt catch a cold. when we were finally done, we drank hot chocolate (he also ate pizza) to make ourselves warm. we were planning on decorating the inside of the house today. (tree, stockings, lights) we did it a bit early this year, not sure why. all this christmasy celebrations makes me remember when i was little (about 7 years old) my family drove around on christmas eve to look at all the decorated houses. i was so amazed i made up a song that goes like this:
look at the lights! look at the lights!
merry christmas! merry christmas!
to all of you! to all of you!
(hey, give me credit! i was only 7!)
yepp, my family still teases me about that stupid song...
well, merry christmas to you all! (only 16 more days!)
