Yep... I live in Oregon.... Not the best state in the country.... Way too much rain and not enough to do..... but we do have some good things here....
For instance.....
1. Intel has it's business headquarters in Hillsboro, Oregon.
2. Nike's World Headquarters are also in Oregon....
3. Lewis and Clark came here to reach the pacific ocean...
they stopped at Astoria Oregon (which I happen to live about 35 miles from)
Though I must also admit that they said the weather here was hell and I must agree....
4. This is where the Oregon trail ended (obviously).
5. We are one of the greenest states in the country..... I mean that literally, everywhere I go I see green.
6. Once upon a time... Oregon rivers were so full of salmon that you could cross the river on their backs.... (or so the native american saying goes)
7. We were home to one of Basketball's greatest players, the legend known as Clyde "The Glide" Drexler.
8. We don't get many natural disasters here in Oregon..... about the worst that happens is flooding (rarely) and the occasional windstorm. But those are nothing compared to tornadoes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, and major Earthquakes *we have earthquakes too but they're generally so small u barely feel them)
9. I live here..... That's probably the best part about Oregon xd
