A small town known as Elderine has been smothered with bad luck and death.The town,hidden within a eerie black mist,is nearly abandoned.Along the outskirts of town a young girl wanders endlessly,holding her torn animal plush.Rivers of tears coming from her teal eyes pour down her face like the bluest of oceans.She wipes away a lone tear with the sleeve of her long white tribal robe.Rain hailed from the dark clouds,thunder roared from the highest mountain tops.Her short cropped purple hair lay drenched just above her eyes.
As she reaches a tree to rest at,she notices a dark shadow uninvitedly coming close to her.Time feels as if it stops,as the shadow grabs the child as it creates a large,ocean like portal in front of her eyes.The dark shadow grabs the little girl,as she screams for help.Yanked by her arm,she is held dangling above the portal.Her eyes widen when she sees the endless darkness from below.To shocked to move,she drops her stuffed animal into the dark pit,only to watch it desinigrate.Just as the shadow lets her arm go,happy with his new capture,the child screams repeatedly for her toy.She realizes she has been saved by a friend,but it is not satisfied by his timing.She has already watched her family and villagers perish..
