It's starting to sink in
The roads that seemed clear
The paths at the hand of Time
What will happen after?
After the tide ceases and the moon stops rising?
What happens when the blood stops flowing?
What happens when you cry when you're alone?
It never rained today.
It shined all day.
The rooms were quiet
I let it sink in
How far have I fallen?
The pressure has gone
The pills are gone
The life I lead is gone
I fell and didn't hit the ground running
I fell and lay in the same spot like I have for months now

I miss him
I can't deny that
The time I was with him,

I would rather live to see him than
To see myself eventually collapse
