Master O. looked at Hikaru a long silence passed and he finally said. “Hikaru you have more reach to compensate for Zack’s two swords he needs to get in closer to you while you don’t have to specially since both of his swords aren’t the same length.”- He looked at me and continued to speak “By giving the both of you these swords not only did I compensate for your weaknesses but also set the two of you on equal ground.”
“You mean…”- Hikaru looked at me.
“That’s right no one has any advantage over the other”- Master O finally said after a long silence. “Now start practicing Zack put on your equipment you too Hikaru.”
“Yes sir!”- Both of us responded and immediately donned our equipment and started our regular routine.
“They don’t seem to notice that you gave them to wrong swords for their unique abilities.”- McCloud said in a lower tone of voice to Master O. he on the other hand smiled and said. “I wouldn’t be so sure, it’s true that I mismatched them with swords that should have gone to their opposite: a long sword with Zack’s strength would be devastating but he would lose to Hikaru’s fast shallow attacks especially if he got a hold of that Kodachi. By giving them their exact opposites Zack’s speed will dramatically improve as well as his strength.”
“I see.”- McCloud said after a long whistle. “Handing Hikaru a heavy long sword not only will his speed increase but also his strength.”
“Exactly”- Master O. smiled.
“You truly are a wicked man O. those kids will become far stronger that you and me even stronger than their father ever was.”
“I’m just fulfilling the promise I made 25 years ago Andrew.”- As he said that Master O. looked at the sky and smiled.
“Well then I guess I’ll need to fulfill my promise too now don’t I.”
“You have no choice now.”
“Ha, ha, ha, ha, your right I just wish it wasn’t so soon.”
“They learn fast I’m surprised that they reached this level in such a short time.” – He sighed.
“Like father, like sons huh? Well O. I need to get things ready then I’ll wait for your message to get things started I’ll see you around.”
“Good I’ll send you word when they are ready, take care Andrew.” – Shakes his hand.
