Lol, funny counter-thread. biggrin
1. RS is 3D. 2. RS doesn't lag on average computers. 3. RS has non-combat skills. 4. You can see whole characters, not just half. 5. RS isn't made in Flash (right-clicking ftw). 6. There's a penalty for dying. 7. Instant travel makes sense (not clicking in a map and appearing somewhere randomly). 8. Updates are bigger than AQW ones. 9. All non-muted players can freely talk on every or nearly every world. 10. Quests aren't just "Kill X Monsters". 11. Members get a substantial amount of benefits while not completely leaving free players behind. 12. You can tell if someone is wielding high-level equipment. 13. It's a lot bigger (although AQW is new). 14. You can trade with other players. 15. You don't have to make money from fighting. 16. There is pvp. 17. Malignius Mortifer can turn you into a mushroom. 18. You can turn into a monkey/gorilla! Ook ook! 18. You can kill monsters ten-times as strong as you by yourself. 19. Holiday rare items are not available multiple years so they're special. 20. You can get killed by evil chickens who fire magical spells at you and talk constantly *bwuk bwuk*. 21. There are TONS of minigames. 22. The entire game has music. *starts whistling "Cabin Fever"* 23. You can switch between sets of spellbooks that have their own unique strengths/weaknesses such as freezing groups of enemies. 24. You can follow other players around relatively easily. 25. There are huge benefits to getting expensive weapons/armor. 26. Individual weapons/armor sets have their own special abilities that don't remove normal pre-existing ones. 27. There are many, vastly different races throughout Gielenor (elves, gnomes, ogres, trolls, fairies, etc.). 28. You can feed your pets. 29. You can get a cape of accomplishment for every level 99 skill and it comes with an impressive emote. 30. You can bring food/potions and other stuff to aid you in battle. 31. You can carry an entire cannon in your inventory. Link-style. O_o 32. When you reach certain skill/quest requirements you get access to special guilds. 33. There are sand areas, snow areas, areas with blue grass, underwater areas, volcanic areas, barren rocky areas, basic grassy areas, jungle areas, and more. 34. Membership is cheaper than in AQW.

1. More variation, quests aren't just "Hey dude! Go kill 500 angry horses for no reason and bring me 500 horse droppings!" and actually require knowledge. 2. I lag less on Runescape's HD version than on AQWorlds Low quality with no sound on. And my flash version is 9. 3. It actually takes time to get from one place to another. You cannot just /goto randomdude to get to a certain area. 4. More difficulty, Runescape actually has some hard stuff. The so-called strong Belrot the Fiend only takes a party of people to defeat. You still get full rewards when doing 1 dmg. 5. Quest items are saved when you log out, so you don't need to do a whole quest without logging out. Bludrut 4th floor much? 6. Runescape has stats. AQWorlds doesn't (HP and MP do not count). 7. More armor and weapon slots, you can wear different leg armors and body armors even if they are not of the same material. In AQWorlds, only overall armors are available. 8. Better audio, hitting an armored foe with a sword in AQW causes a punching sound? In Runescape, different sounds are made when hitting different enemies. 9. In Runescape, greedy people cannot use hacks to become successful. AQWorlds can be hacked... 10. Runescape has more puns than AQWorlds. Yes, the impossible has happened. Pretty much in every quest you will find at least one pun or reference to another something. 11. You actually get rewarded for getting to the maximum level. AQWorlds: Um... Woot? I have a 1 million mace that that level 7 hacker next to me has? Yay? Runescape: You get capes that look cool for a level 99 skill. And hackers cannot get it. So... Which sounds more rewarding? 12. Updates often take a long time to finish, instead of getting a 5 minute long release featuring a boss monster, you can get an 8 hour long quest that has awesome rewards. The only fairly substantial update I've ever seen was the Dwakel Crash Site. 1% drop rate. Woot. 13. Better storyline. Yep, storylines aren't just Go to this place to save us! Go kill monsters for these guys! Go kill monsters to obtain reputation! Go to a guy who kills monsters to finish up! Kill monster blocking my goldfish chest! Kill Monsters blocking the gateway to heaven! Kill guy who's going to kill the world! If you don't think runescape has storylines, go do all the members quests and do WGS. 14. Members version actually attracts people into buying membership. There isn't much of a difference between the members version and the free version of AQW. AE is constantly giving content to free players (90%) and like 10% is members only. In my opinion, even though slightly more expensive, Runescape is a better deal that AQW. 15. Unlike AE, Jagex does not tell us everything about their soon-to-come updates. The text Behind the Scenes are very brief compared to the Design notes where they bombard us with pictures, text and more about these update so that they are hardly a suprise when we come to play them. 16. Runescape still has an incentive to play when reaching the maximum level. AQWorlds gets pretty dang boring once your level is at 18-20 and 2 million gold is in your pocket. 17. Runescape has more player interaction than AQWorlds. AQWorlds Player interaction: Fight monsters! Run around and kill stuff! Kill more monsters? Runescape: Compete in minigames, trade items, PVP (woot.), fight monsters (of course) etc. etc. 18. Friends list in Runescape can have up to 200 friends (10 times that of AQWorlds), and the friends list does not appear on top of the game. PMing is a lot easier, you don't have to type /tell everytime. 19. Much larger world with a bunch of shortcuts and teleportation methods that need to be earned to be used (No goto-randomdude!) 20. Much more depth than AQWorlds. The game isn't just kill kill kill rest kill kill kill, there are both noncombat and combat skills. There are also many uses for each skill. 21. There are banks and a bunch of methods to conserve space (leprauchauns, costume rooms etc.) so that you don't have to sell stuff in your inventory. 22. Animated weapons and armor do not have a drastic impact on the lag unlike AQWorlds, so you get to wear all your cool stuff to parties. 23. Like over 550 songs in Runescape compared to the like... 2? of AQWorlds 24. Better animation, doing a wave does not make you look like you are knocking on a door. 25. More monsters, and their aggro is not super easy to avoid. Seriously, does the Aggro really do anything? All you really have to do is heal after every map... 26. Sense of danger, which gives use to the handy dandy bank. Item huggers should actually use the BANK. 27. Mages and rangers can actually use spells only or arrows only, they aren't forced to melee most of the time. 28. You can have up to 2.147 billion gold on Runescape, but only 2 million on AQWorlds. 29. You can build a house in Runescape and have a party in it. Can't do that yet in AQWorlds, can you? 30. More realtime than AQWorlds, an enemy you casted an ice barrage on cannot attack you across a pit of lava. 31. Better community than AQWorlds. It's true, you've just been playing too much on the unenabled chat servers, have you? 32. Runescape feels more civilized than AQWorlds. Runescape has a ton of banks, houses (with second floors!), shops, NPCs, trees, monsters, bars, furnaces, cooking ranges etc. AQWorlds has a few areas and a bunch of shops. 33. Armor actually has an impact on your actual defense in Runescape. 34. Quickchat (canned chat in AQWorlds) feels more finished than that of AQWorlds. You can even say things like "I'm a newb.", "w00t!", "I like your item: cooked chicken" and a lot more. 35. You can use field artillery in runescape. (Dwarf cannons ftw)
I can probably think of like 65 more, but I don't think anyone is going to read them all.
