Alright People, listen up!
This is an official, I've got nobody I know comming to my wedding, and I need bodies, invitation.
Yes, a real life wedding invitation.
So, if you live in Southern California, or anywhere really, but are willing to drive to SoCal,
And you're free on December 10th (That's a Saturday)
And don't mind driving up to Lancaster
And I know you (I.E, we've talked in the forums, in towns, through PM, whatever, and I recognise your username)
PM me with an RSVP.
I'll send you back more details then.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now the rest of it.
The reason this wedding is on such short notice (We reserved the church this weekend, less than 2 weeks before the date)
is because Zach is getting shipped to Iraq in January. It's rather late notice. He wasn't schedualled to go until at the soonest Sep. of '06, but...
MALS 13 (The squadron he's with) was 'requested' to give up 500 Marines to Guard Force temporarily, to ship out in January. And since he's one of the 15 or so people not going on the MEU in March...and he's somewhat new and doesn't know everything about the shop yet, he's going in January.
There is a possibility that he won't go. He has sever tendonitis in his shoulder. But, the doctor says that he's still going unless his physical therapy doesn't work and the shoulder still has the tendonitis in January.
I never thought I'd be praying for this particular injury not to heal.
I mean, it wouldn't be so bad if he was going with the people he's worked and trained with for the past months, but to be sent out with a whole new unit, people he doesn't know at all, a job that's so dull that he's been reccomended to bring more movies than he can pack...it just doesn't seem justified. Either way, that's how life's working at the moment.
