Past: He was Faylinn's betrothed before she left the faerie court. While Sindri was able to cover up the murder of Kheelan, Durin knew the truth. He played the good prince to Sindri and the other faeries, but always planned to find Faylinn again and bring her back. Of course, he would not do this before he found a way to kill Sindri first. After he found out Sindri sent a team to bring back/kill Faylinn, he set out on his own to find Faylinn first.
