my poem--promises
PROMISES

they are always made
promises...
to always love her forever
to never lie or cheat
to always be true
to be with her til death do you part
and so many more...
and yet there are still broken hearts
if these promises were so true
all hearts would be healed,
none left to blead
so why are there so many bleeding hearts?
because these promises that are meant to be kept
are being broken
...promises...breaking hearts for so long...
and no one realizes it...until it happens
