i'm alone in a crowded room,
i'm unknown amoung friends,
i'm hiding behind my own skin.
i'm lying through these tears
i'm crying more everytime you take these lies
i'm cutting through the skin
just to understand that i'm still here
i'm avoiding the ones i love,
i'm hanging around the ones i hate
i'm smiling through these tears
even when i'm choked up inside

i just want you to know,
when i'm joking around and laughing every minute,
when i'm the complete opposite of serious,
that's when i'm broken up the most.
