i just got my cartilige pierced. they wudnt do it at the tattoo place cuz they used a surgical needle, and i was "too young". there they said to wash it 2ce daily with nonscented antibacterial soap. the other solutions cud dry out the piercing, or be too harsh. also, stainless steel was the best for waiting for it to heal. this is what the guy said from 13yrs of experience, so i trusted him.
i went to claires to get the actual piercing where they do the gun. they suggested gold stud & their special solution. i got stainless steel. i used soap. now all i hav to do is wait til NOV. when its heald, then i can start stretching it to a 16G instead of 20G. mrgreen

so i got my cartilige to a 14G. the jewelry for that gage is so cool!
maybe i'll get my lobes to a 14G...what do you think?

well i go to people around my age with facial piercings & askd em how they convinced their rents, best response
"i told them if i got it now it could heal, and when im older and need to be professional i can take it out and i wont have to worry for it to close up. then, i can just wear it for fun instead of all the time"
my friends, that means she'll probly never take it out when she needs to be professional, but hey, she got the piercing! lol
