apparently i thought something Really Exciting was going to happen this morning.
i remember telling my brain, last night, that we needed to get up and turn the coffee pot on, since i had already put the coffee grounds and water in it the night before.
that didn't warrent my brain waking me at 5:17am going
KK! WHERE THE PARTY AT? WHERE BE THE PARTY? PARTY! PARTY!
i say to my brain,
no! no party. go back to sleep. we have at least another ten minutes before the first alarm goes off.
brain is
KK! I UNDERSTAND! I SLEEP NOW. WHEN IS PARTY HAPPEN! PARTY!!!
at which point i gave up and decided i might as well get out of bed.
