Today is October 31st, 2012. It is Halloween, and it is the first Halloween that I have ever celebrated.
I had a bad day at school today, and when I got home I just laid in bed and cried and slept. I got a text from my dear friend, George, asking if I wanted to come over and spend the night. At first I declined the request, I didn't want to do anything but mope and lay around. But then I realized that maybe it would be good for me to actually try and be happy. So, I reluctantly got out of bed and went to his house. (Side note: George's family is practically my family. They take care of me since I don't have one of my own. I frequently spend the night, and I even have my own room in their house.)
I ended up celebrating my first Halloween ever! I got dressed up as a hippie and went trick-or-treating in a neighboring neighborhood. It was a new experience for me. I went with my adopted family of Mama Bowman, George, Taylor and her boyfriend and their son Bentley, Beth and her boyfriend, Dustin, and their baby Cameron and Mama Bowman's friend, Patsy.
It was actually fun. I had a lot of fun. Who knew Halloween was actually fun? I sure didn't.
Now I am tired, and I have school tomorrow, so for anyone who ventures out to read this, adieu. I hope you had a good night. I may write soon, depending if there is anything worth writing about.
La-la-love, Sky.
