My dad and I went to a "Symphony in the Park" thing this evening. They were playing John Williams music. (For thoughs of you who don't know who I'm talking about, he composed the music for Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jaws, Jurassic Park, and a bunch of other movies.) The orcestra did a reeeeaally awesome job. They captured the feel of the movies and everything. They saved the Star Wars music for the end. It was awesome, but they didn't play the Imperial March and I was a little bummed about that. For some reason I almost cried durring the Harry Potter theme. (Almost is the keyword there.) I have no clue why. I'm not usually emotional about things like that. (Maybe it's cuz I'm getting old. sweatdrop )
There was this cute little kid in front of us with a plastic blue lightsaber, and he was having a hell of a good time killing invisible stormtroopers the whole time they were playing. (...Or maybe it was battle droids... or Darth Vader?) He was bound and determand to have his lightsaber fight. Even to the theme of Shindlers List. xd Some old woman beside me thought he was being an unruley child. Grrr, he was just having fun! He had a little friend with a green glow stick, who, I can only assume, was pretending to be Yoda. Also this dude sitting behind us (he had his back to us) had his arm around his girlfriend... and his hand was inching right up the crack of her a**! rofl rofl rofl Dumbass thought no one could see that. rolleyes
...Ironically enough, Star Wars Ep. III is on HBO right now. Swear I didn't plan that.
