((Ok. This part was completely destroyed by a glue incident the other day so I'm going to try & remember it all...))
[Kai Note: I just wanted to tell everyone that I'm going to try & center the plots around each individual person as much as possible. If you think I'm not going with your character's persona or if you have a better idea than what I put, please tell me... kindly. ^^" Oh. & since I don't reveal much of my character's past, you'll see it throughout the story.]

The upbeat music pulsed through the club. The bass roared rythmically as it shook the foundations. The strobe lights flickered various colors, going from complete darkness to bright ligh in less than a second. The place was so packed that everyone was crowded into one dancing mass. Takara squirmed her way through the forest of bodies & limbs until she stopped at the bar. She ordered another shot of vodka, recieving a stunned look from the bartender.
"Another?! You've had forty!"
"So?" The woman with long blue-black hair replied with raised eyebrows. She didn't seem pahsed by all the drinking at all.
The bartender shook his head, handed another costumer their beer, & walked out from behind the counter.
"You need to go."
Takara blinked. "What?"
You heard me. Come on." He sternly grabbed her forearm. "Lets go." He dragged her towards the back door. Takara desperately wanted to get away from him. She definatly was capable of it. If she wanted to, she could through the man into the other side of the room, through the wall, & into the third building down with great ease. But she had to keep low & unsuspicious to stay in the human world.
"Come on now. You'll thank me tomorrow when you're stil alive."
Yeah right.... she thought.
The bartender threw her out into an ally & closed the metal door. The music was instantly muffled behind it. Takara frowned at the door disgruntledly. A soft chuckle came from behind her.
"What are the odds of finding you here?"
The woman spun around. How could someone sneak up on her? She should have sensed it ions ago. She felt her jaw slacken slightly.
"Jack? What are you doing here?"
The dark-haired man shrugged & smiled. "I decided to do some exploring. The arena was getting too small. Also to find some way to enhance my techniques. You seem to be having a good time."
He nodded at her outfit: leather knee high boots, a short skirt, & a top that revealed more stomach & clevage than it should. Takara looked down at her outfit & grinned back at him sheepishly. "What can I say? I love the wild life ofthe city."
"I see." Jack replied with a half chuckle in his words.
Takara looked over his shoulder & behind her. "Anyone looking?"
Jack mimiced her by looking around. "Nope."
She nodded & a pair of dragon wings sprouted from her back. She draped them around her shoulders, making it them look like a cloak. They were in Los Angelos. Something as small as a cloak-like thing would definatly blend in. She walked past him & towards the street the ally lead to. Jack followed.
"So where's Kishama?" he asked.
"Training his dragon abilities. He will finish in a few months. He wasn't happy with me." The brightness of the intense city lights shown on them. Cars & people continued to overflow the streets as if it were still daytime.
"I bet. So how long are you here for?" Jack asked as they began to merge into the crowd on the sidewalks. A cool night breeze filled with pollution & smog blew into them. He wrinkled his nose at the smell but ignored it. Takara's sensitive nose wasn't handling it as well. A look of disgust at the pollution & humans crossed her face. It amzed her how much easier it was to the human population to bring more grim into the world.
"I don't know. Until I feel lik-OOF!!" She felt herself run head-on into someone tall & sturdy. She heard Jack call her name in surprise as she fell backwards & hit her butt on the hard sidewalk. She let out a growl.
"Hey you jackass! Watch where you're going!!" Her glaring blue eyes traveled from the combat boots, to the black jeans, past the leather jacket, & to a young man's face with spikey white hair. Mirrored sunglasses covered his eyes as he smirked down at her.
"My apologies, Takara. I thought you would stop." He reached his hand out to her.
Takara returned the smirk & took his hand. "Kioshi. & just when I thought the night couldn't get anymore eventful."

Ash fell like grey snow onto the destroyed & dubri filled cobble streets of a small town. Smoke billowed like black clouds from the buildings, blanketing the earth & eyes from anything a few feet away. Not even the raging fire behind it could pierce through its blackness. The heat wave of the fire's breath scorched the hairs off of any passerby.
Kakairo was uneffected by it. She stalked the deserted cobble streets as if she were taking an evening stroll. Though, even with no one around, her senses were aware of everything around her. Her ears caught the sound of a collapsing roof five blocks down as if it were right next to her. The roar of the fire sounded like a tornado. Every inch of her tingled as her sixth sense scanned for any movements or danger. She tasted things in the air, as well. Mostly dust, ash, & smoke... along with a metallic taste: blood. She could smells its thick aroma along with the stench of burning corpses.
She felt light-hearted, completed by her devious actions. Her bloodthirst was stil raging but at least she wasn't craving for it so much. She had satified that a long time ago. The fire was just for fun, a game for the angels that hunted her. They had been tracking her rampaging acts all across the human world. They were getting too close when she found this town. The destruction of it made a good cover screen for her escape & bought her some time, since they were required to settle the matter of the burning town before they dealt with her. She smirked. The angels would be pissed & would probably raise the bounty on her head.
Kai soon found out she was mistaken. Naught two seconds after thinking that, she felt herself shift her weight to ther right foot & fly to the left. From the corner of her eye she saw the glint of the blade. The sword flew inches from her head. Slowly in slow-mo, she turned to look at it. Her reflection stared back: an expressionless face with two glaring eyes. Instead of it being long hair, it was cropped short & spiked. The blade caught the light of something & her image momentarily disappeared. When the light flickered away a demon had replaced her image. It had the same bone structure, hair, ears, & eye shape but her skin had turned into rusty scales. Her eyes were glowing a black light & carnivorous teeth glinted from the corner of her sneer. The reflection growled unnaturally & lunged out of the blade. The last thing Kai saw was the back of the demon's throat.

"Are you sure about this Rem? I don't think she's a pleasent waker." Zaira whispered behind Rem.
"Are you sure Sotaru has his facts straight?" Rem asked, turning around to look at her. She had her hand around the knob of a door. Zaira nodded. "Then she would want to know."
Rem turned the door knob & entered Kakairo's room. The place pulsed with a thick aura. A throbbing pressure told the two women it was there. Kakairo was twitching on her beding from a nightmare. Calmly, Rem shook her shoulders.
"Kai? Wake up..."
The demoness gasped sharply &, before Rem could react, pointed a dagger to her friend's neck. Zaira's complexion instantly paled.
"REM?! ARE YOU OK?! KAI! KNIFE!...BAD! ...DOWN!!"
Kai stared at her surroundings with shock. Rem stayed perfectly still as she allowed the demoness's half-awake brain to register what was going on. It didn't take her long. Kakairo realized where her knife was pointed at & dropped it as if it had scorched her. Rem relaxed.
So did Zaira. "Jeez... remind me not to wake you up unless I want a pre-mature death."
Kai glared at her. Rem grinned. "& I see you've regained your composure."
This was too much for the demoness's still lathargic mind. "Just come out with it, you Knuckleheads! Why did you wake me up?!"
Rem chuckled but mentally flinched at a late realization that what was coming won't improve her mood. Zaira apparently noticed too because her mood darkened. "Er... well..."
Kakairo sensed the change in the atmosphere & grew serious. She sat up. "What is it?"
"Sotaru wanted to inform you Kioshi left."
"....."
Rem sighed. Three.... two.... one....
"WHAT?!!!"

The foundation of the arena shook. Aergan, who was four rooms down, jolted from his sleep (screaming something about muffins) & fell off his bed. He hit the floor with a loud THUNK. The vampire hissed & rubber his head where a bump was forming.
"I'm going to throttle that midgit...."
