Day 1
Mood -- Exhausted cry
Okay so it is day one of my debate trip, and so far all I can conclude is that I'm freaking exhausted!! ARGH!!
But anyways. To start from the beginning.
I woke up this morning at eight o'clock, an hour and thirty minutes before my first class, so I could take a shower this morning since I wouldn't be able to tonight. After my shower I packed my things and began charging my iPod before I left for class. Just rounding S.S. I ran into one of the boys from my Global Awareness class. Turns out the class was cancled. I have come up with two possible reasons:
1) The basement flooded from the storm last night.
2) Something happend to my teacher from the storm last night.
Either way I suspect the storm was at fault for canceling my class. Oh well. Not like I'm complaining. So I called mom and we saw each other earlier then planned. She was originally going to swing by after class, but she picked me up early and we went to breakfast. After that we grabbed some medicine for me and then headed back to my dorm to finish packing. Sunny and Snoopy went up to the room with me. They were really excited -- it was freaking hilarious to see them go up and down stairs!! =D
After packing we put the dogs back in the van and went to the bookstore to look around. After looking at zip up hoodies we went to the Cru Club and grabbed a light lunch and talked until I had to leave for class. Said goodbye to mom, ran up to get my things, and then headed to Phil. After Phil. went to Soc. Once that was done, ran back to my room, PMed Toli Bera, then put my computer up and ran to the bus. That was at four.
I just got to our hotel room. D< It's 11:30! ARGH!
The ride was fun. I sat with Phil my partner (he slept basically the entire time xD) and we breaked for dinner. For a bit we talked, but then he went back to sleep and I went back to reading Civilization and its Discontents for Soc. We stopped at a Quality Inn, I took some Nyquil and now am waiting for it to kick in so I can go to bed. Tomorrow we drive for another five hours to Jersey City, New Jersey. OH! We're in Breezewood Penn. >> I have no clue where that is.
We have to wake up at six, we're leaving at eight. Argh. I'm tired. Can't you tell?
Tomorrow I'm not debating though. Phil and I were partnered up late so we couldn't put a case together in time, so I'm just observing.
>> I have a feeling one of the girls in Debate doesn't like me. Oh well. XP BOO ON HER!!
Anyways. Okay, I'm going to work on stuff for our case and try to sleep. I'll try to keep posting the rest of the trip when I have a chance.
