The Cancer Ribbon Petition
[x] The Story ! [x]
Most people in the world have known someone close to them who has been diagnosed with cancer.
Many people have died from the disease, many people have grieved over the disease, and many, many people are diagnosed each year.
This means so much to me, seeing as I am also diagnosed with a cancer known as Leukemia.
I know many people support other cancers, like breast cancer and such, but there are others that need to be supported as well.
So, why not support them on Gaia?
This is NOT a joke. If you post anything cruel in this thread, I will come AFTER you.
[x] My Story [x]
Hi, my name is Raine. I'm fifteen and I'm dying of a disease called Leukemia.
When I was three years old my mother died. She had died from a crash, but further examination specified that if she had survived the crash, she would have had a tumor in her lung.
Now, here I am, 12 years later, and I have too many white blood cells than what's normal, and it's slowly shutting down my body. I've been battling cancer since I was seven years old.
I joined Gaia a while back and made some great friends. And now, as I sit here typing this, I'm supposed to tell them I'm going to die.
Yesterday, the doctors informed me that unless I get a very risky transfer, I'm not going to live longer than February.
My goal: to get this petition to come true. Because even if I expire, I want to make an imprint.

Q: Why is Autism Included?
A: Because I have family members who are Autistic and friends who are Autistic, and I'm aware that this affects people's lives just as bad as cancer does.
Q: Why would we bother supporting it on Gaia?
A: It shows support; it does something nice for people.
Q: Isn't there already a movement like this?
A: Yes, it's called the Yellow Daffodil movement.
