A quote my mind generated what seems to be ages ago in a moment of weakness and fear.
It..occurs to me in a way, that all living beings with conscience are naturally repressive...We repress the things too difficult for us to deal with, we repress them from our conscious mind and feelings because they drive us to points or feelings that we cannot handle. But these repressed things never go anywhere, they're always there in the back of your mind and your heart. Whether they come to whisper to you as you lie awake in the darkness of your room, or if they tear open those wounds until you can hide them once again. We repress things...we choose not to speak of them...but this never solves anything...We tell ourselves we're over it, and in truth we are, but those wounds are there, those wounds need answers, they need to know why, how, how could they be there? Or else all they are...are razors still embedded in the skin but hidden by long sleeves.
I suppose this is just the ranting of a fool, ah well...perhaps I'm still weak and afraid sometimes.
