• In the beginning of human time, there was a lonely black prison for the goddess Dementia. Dementia was the creator of all life, as the holy book tells, but she also was one to take life away. She created two sentient species that were meant to be kept separate, the humans with their stupidity and curiosity, and the elves with their grace and magical incline. The two species were put on separate halves of the globe, divided by a giant tree that’s roots grew clear to the other side. But the humans wanted to know what lie on the other side of the tree and set it aflame. The goddess tried as much as she could but even with her power she was unable to stop the flames, and took her revenge on the world. She created monsters, horrible beasts to kill off the humans. But the elves thought this cruel and tried to stop them. A new race was born from this partnership, Half Elves! Just as curious as the humans, but as magical as the elves, they spent the next hundred years driving the monsters back, but some still remain to this day.

A few million years later and evolution took the stage and the humans began to grow and learn. By the medieval times the humans no longer need the half elves and tried to kill them, this was documented as the first racial holocaust (humans have such strange words). The elves spent all of their magic to protect the half elves from the humans, but cost a great blow to the numbers of the elf culture. With the humans unable to kill off the half elves a great hatred for them brewed, as humans have a problem with not getting what they want. So they treat them like animals instead of equals… disgusting!

Eventually the elf population diminished to only a few hundred and were scattered across the globe, dedicating their lives to magic. With so few elves they didn’t have enough magic to protect half elves, but the humans didn’t know. As time went on, a few more species were born into the world. Quarter elves (one fourth elf) that were treated nicely due to the fact they were small. And goblins (a mongrel inbred that were created by half elves and quarter elves) that were hated and despised, but had no magic (although muscular build).

The goblins took residence in goblin villages in the Trenton Mountains to the north. Quarter elves fled to the south and lived in the kingsly plains and grasslands. The elves that remained made their domain in the Hendry marshes and plateaus to the east. The half elves lived with the humans in their elaborate villages to the west. The goddess was not pleased with how things had played out on her creation and created more species, not as menacing as monsters, but some arguably as evil. The created dwarfs with high intolerance to heat, who live in the Norton desert. She made demons, sprits of monsters past that hide in any dark place possible, but prefer the depression that can be found in dusk forest. There were also Mikata, half bird half man creatures able to control air currents and wind magic that raised sections of the planet and live in the sky. Brownies that have not too many discerning skills, except for their ability to dig deep holes in a matter of seconds, they live in the derydel riverbank. The Castell, musical beings not unlike humans, but with large drooping ears, that love to write, play and listen to music who live in deep burrows in the katzbalner canyon.

These species lived together in harmony (except for the human half-elf racial barrier) with nature and each other. On the world of Mensa there are other entities that control the way the world works. Supposed beginning entities for all species, these beings have been noted in various elven books. Ignis- spirit of human, Malto- spirit of the elves, Cire- spirit of the half elves, Hathron- spirit of the quarter elves, Cormac- spirit of the goblins, Levi- spirit of the dwarfs, Karam- spirit of the demons, Barom- spirit of the Mikata, Adivia- spirit of the Brownies and Biria- spirit of the Castell. These spirits are constantly at war with dementia and the chapel of dementia.

In a far off human village deep in Faber valley an elf ventured into a human village. A trader of sorts, she set into the local market in search of a place to put up her booth. After a few hours of unsuccessful sales she was ready to pack up and head to another town when a human walked up to the she-elf. The man had dirty blond hair, slightly curling and deep blue eyes. The elf with her forest green hair and magenta eyes was mesmerized by him. He came up and asked what she was selling. She took out five different boxes and began to open them “look inside and see” she said blushing a little. He searched through until he found a book and opened it. As he read he found out it was the elven girl’s diary and she hadn’t noticed. He handed it back to her, red in the face and said “im so sorry, I didn’t know this was your diary, please forgive me!” The elf girl simply laughed and said “it’s not your fault; I shouldn’t have left it there!” The man thanked her and said he would be back tomorrow to browse some more. He returned everyday for five months and bought one think daily until one day he showed up and she only had one box on her table, it was small and white. He went up to the girl and asked what is in this box. She giggled and said, “You must open it to find out” she said blushing like mad. When he opened it and saw a diamond wedding ring and she said “im having a sale today, you can have my heart for free!” they got married and were happy for many years. They had a child named Barret, a half elf with deep red eyes and forest green hair. Until one day the humans found out about the half elf. He was banished to a human and half elf village and his parents put to death. He was to young to understand what was the matter with being a half elf but he went to the village Lugar. He spent the rest of his childhood in a half elf shelter surrounded by half elves his age and below.

We all feel sorry for the boy and send him our sympathy and as soon as my training is done I will set out to help him and avenge my sister’s death at the hands of those humans!
