• As we walked through the dense forest with the pack on our backs, I smiled and thanked him. It was getting dark, and we were looking for a place to lie down. There were twigs all around and barely any grass. Winter was approaching. I spotted a small patch of grass. "Look," I said. "We can camp out there." He smiled and nodded, walking over to the campsite. I removed the blanket from the pack and layed it on the grass. Big enough for two? As we sat down, he removed the one and only smaller blanket, fit for being a pillow. I thought, should I take it? Should I give it to him? Should we share it? We chose the last one. He removed his school clothes, and put another blanket over top of us. We both lay our heads on the pillow as he moved closer to me, just to feel my touch. He was cold, just like the blood running through his veins. I shivered as I put my arm against his for comfort. He was so amazing. And I couldn't leave him for the world. Yes, we've had our ups and downs, but we remained in eachother's minds as the world spiraled into chaos. The crickets are chirping now, and I can't see a thing. He mumbles something about moving closer for warmth. I do so, and as I do, we both fall into a deep sleep.
He is the son of a Prime Minister. He is a Knight of the Rounds. He is the knight of my dear, dear sister. He is Suzaku Kururugi. I am the son of an Emperor. I am the leader of a rebellion. I died for the world. I am Lelouch Vi Britannia.
And nothing will tear us apart.
