• Chapter 1

    Her phone vibrated once again as she stood there with a blank expression. The text read, “Umm, hello? Are you still there?” Summer snapped back into reality as she simply wrote back, “Y-Yeah.. I need to go for a little while.” She withdrew the phone from her hands as it clasped against the wooden floor. Summer’s sight turned blurry as her body dropped like a magnet being pulled to metal. Throat burned, eyes watered. She reached her hands to the top of her head, forcefully latching onto strains of hair, shaking her entire body back and forth, using the Gods name in vain many times.
    “Why..?” was all she could gape away from her lips. Her head started churning as her body fell limp. Falling into a ‘deep sleep’ wasn’t much of a choice now. Her head lingered back against the wall, while her breathing soothed down. His name was the last thing on her mind before departing into an empty abyss. She didn’t remember much after that.
