• I was walking into the room with a drawing book at hand. I looked around the room and saw a woman that was about five foot eleven inches tall. She had shiny brown hair that curled at the ends; her eyes were the prettiest blue I’ve ever seen. She was dressed in a night gown that was a light pink it almost looked like silk. I walked over to her to see why she was here this late at night. I opened my mouth and spoke, “Excuse me Ma’am, but can I ask why you are in this place at night a pretty maiden like yourself shouldn’t be here alone.”



    I looked at her as she looked down at me and spoke, “I am meeting someone here tonight. They should be here soon.”



    Just as she said that a tall man wearing a suit came in and walked over to us. He looked down at me and spoke, “Hello young lad I see you found friend and kept her safe until I arrived. Here’s a token of my gratitude.” He handed me two pounds then patted my head. “You may leave now lap she’s in good hands now.” The man smiled gently at me.

    I began to speak my voice was kind of quiet, “Thank you sir, but I was just walking around trying to find a good place to draw in my drawing book, and I came into this room and saw her. I didn’t do anything for this money.” I reached out my hand with the two pounds to hand it back to him, but her rose his hand and said, “ Keep it lad, I have too much anyway,” as he spoke I could smell his cologne he was wearing it had a sent of pine mixed with lavender. I put the money in my pocket then noticed that the woman was looking at me with a worried look on her beautiful face. I looked at the man then at the woman and I thought, “Why is she worried the man seems nice but I could be wrong.”

    She kept looking at me so, I moved closer to her then I hugged her gently. She smelled of sweet strawberries with a touch of lavender. She hugged me back and smelled my black hair. The man looked lost and confused. I kept hugging the woman and she kept hugging me back. Then all of the sudden the man yanked me off of here by my neck. I tried to get loose but he was holding the back of my neck and I couldn’t move he spoke and said, “Stop hugging her or you will regret you hugged her.” I shivered at the words and tried to step away. The man let go almost making me fly forward. I looked at the man he had a mean look on his face like he was ready the throw me across the room. I looked at the woman and she looked scared of the man. The man looked at me and asked in a sour voice, “What is your name?”

    “M-my name?”

    “Yes your name mine is Apollo the second.”

    “My name is...” I stopped in midsentence and looked at Apollo the second he was looking at me it scared me. Then I swallowed and then spoke, “My name is Akihito. What is her name?” I nodded at the woman.

    “The woman spoke quietly, “My name is Aurora Aponi.” Her voice is sweet it almost sounds like and angel singing.

    Apollo looked at me and said, “Why are you here?”

    I spoke quietly, “Well I don’t really have anywhere to go so I was trying to find a place to draw. What about you why are you and Aurora here?”
    “That is none of your business Akihito. Now Aurora and I should get going. Good bye.” Apollo grabbed Aurora’s arm and started walk away, but Aurora grabbed my arm. I looked at her. She looked scared,as if Apollo was going to do something terrible to her. I tried to help her by punching and kicking him so he'd let her go,but nothing happened. He kept walking and she held onto my arm. We were taken to a dark alleyway,where Apollo suddenly disappeared. We were alone,frightened,and confused. Why were we taken here,and where did Apollo go?

    Aurora looked at me and I asked, “Where did he go?” She just looked at me and around the alley. Then all of the sudden someone grabbed my arm I jumped in fear then looked to see who grabbed my arm. I saw a man that was wearing regular t-shirt that was black and some black pants.

    He spoke in a deep and dark voice, “You’re coming with me little boy.” My eyes widened and I looked over at Aurora she was being held back by some other men in black. She was struggling to get free. One of the men struck her with his hand slapping her face so hard it left a mark. “Aurora!” I yelled, I kicked the man holding my arm in the shin and ran over to Aurora. I hugged her tightly and spoke, “Aurora, are you okay?” She gave me a weak nod. I was suddenly grabbed and dragged away for her. I was picked up and taken to a building. They tied to a chair and I was surrounded by all these men.

    Apollo came through the men to me and then he spoke, “Well, well Akihito it’s so nice of you to join us. I suppose you would like to know why you are here.”

    “Yes, I would like to know why I’m here and what did you do with Aurora?” I spoke with a strong voice hiding my fear inside.

    “You are here because I you didn’t listen to what I said and guess what, now you are going to pay for ever meeting her.” He started turned and started walking out the room he whispered to one of the men, “You know what to do.” The man gave a slight nod and smiled evilly. Apollo was now gone, I was tied up and the men around me looked mean.

    One of the men spoke it must have been the leader, “Well this is going to be fun for us. First of all I am Eraza, and you are to listen to us if you don’t we will tell Apollo and he might hurt Aurora. Now are you going to listen to us Akihito?”

    I spoke quietly, “Yes I will listen to you Eraza.” As I said that I was thinking of a plan to get free and find Aurora.

    Eraza smiled then spoke, “Okay, guys untie him.” He looked at me like he was planning something he would enjoy and I wouldn’t.

    . The other men untied me and grabbed my arms. “Akihito you aren’t going any where with out someone with you now come along.” Eraza started to walk out of the room I was forced to follow him.

    I thought to my self “Now is your chance Akihito.” With that thought I kicked the men holding me each in the side so hard it knocked the breathe out of them I ran up and kicked Eraza down and put my foot on his throat putting a little bit of presser on it then I spoke in a sour voice, “Where is Aurora tell me now.”

    Eraza spoke seeming to be choking on words, “I wouldn’t know Apollo just told us to get you to listen to us.” Just then I heard a scream and I ran towards it. I ended up by a door I opened the door and saw Apollo with a whip and knife and I saw Aurora covered in blood in the corner. I gasped in surprise thinking, “No wonder she was so scared of him he beats her.”

    Apollo heard my gasp and he turned around and faced me then he spoke, “Why are you here? You shouldn’t be here at all Akihito. You made a bad decision on coming here and you are going to pay for it.” After he said that he raised his hand with the whip in it and brought it down upon me but I moved out of the way and he missed. He pushed me into the wall and held the knife to my neck. “You are going to pay rather you like it or not.” I looked over at Aurora she looked weak and scared. Apollo ripped my shirt with the knife tearing it all the way down the front. He took his whip and whipped me with it hitting my chest. I grinded my teeth then pain was unbelievably horrifying. He kept hitting me with the whip then at the tenth blow; all of the sudden Aurora came behind Apollo and took his whip. Then said, “Apollo leave him alone he didn’t do anything.”

    Apollo turned around and spoke, “Aurora stay out of this it has nothing to do with you.”

    “It does so have to do with me. Akihito came to save me from you.” She looked at me and mouthed for me to kick him. I nodded to her and she gave a slight smile.

    “Aurora I will hurt you more if you don’t listen to me. Now give my whip back and go sit down.” As Apollo spoke I straitened up and got ready to kick him.

    “No, I am not going to listen to you anymore I’m sick of it. You end up hurting me every time I do something wrong this is the last straw.”

    “Well then you asked for it Aurora, you will listen to me even if you like it or not.” As Apollo said that I kicked him in between the legs and he fell to the ground I jumped over him gabbed Aurora and we ran away from him. We ran out of the building and off the land to a field.

    I spoke when we stopped running, “Why did you help me?”

    “You helped me Akihito, You saved me.”

    “What are we going to do now?”

    “Let’s just go to my home Apollo doesn’t know where I live so he won’t find us.”

    “Okay Aurora.” Aurora’s night gown was covered in blood and I lost my shirt and it hurt when we hit the cold air. We walked to her house it was small, but nice, warm, and safe. When we got there she dressed my wounds and then her own she gave me a shirt to wear.

    “Akihito do you have anywhere to go; like a home?”

    I spoke quietly, “No I don’t I was kicked out of the house.”

    “How about you live here, with me Akihito? I’ll adopt you”

    “You would? That would be great Aurora. Thank you.” I hugged her gently. She hugged me back and smiled. I finally had a home to go to I am happy that I do and I even have someone to live with Aurora is going to adopt me. I was happy the happiest I have ever been.

    “Well then, I guess I am your new mom.” She smiled sweetly and ruffled my hair. I am looking forward to my new life with Aurora, my new mom.
