"the star and its heaven"

a shining star in the clear sky
waiting for the light before it dies
alone with no one around
staring blanky with a sad frown
the coming death is close upon
heaven is to shine its light on
slowly as the brightness began to fade away
a sad voice has come to say,
"float to heaven in luminescent moonlight
where you can be completely bright"
