My eyes...dilating towards this blackhole sun.
Breaths of helplessness escape me,
I'm lost in your gaze forever more.
I'm dying in a newborn shell,
but something tells me you don't want to let go just yet.
We're surrounded by the galaxies dancing across the sky,
in shades of rainbows, darkness and light.
Your taste enters through my lips,
is this a goodbye or hello?
Emerald irises covering those delicate pupils of yours,
show so much dearness to me.
I take that as an "I love you."
Since the day I crossed in your path,
to this apocalyptic moment in our lives...
where I had to make the choice of staying alive with you
or die with bitter hatred,
I chose to stay with you, my dear.
So, why am I dying?
Seeing the waves of flames dance across the cities of the world,
it seems like your mission is accomplished.
Somehow though, I became part of this...sickening disease we created.
So...since you're probably the one making the decision,
did you decide to stay by my side?
Did you decide to let me become a goddess of your world,
or a dying one?
I don't know if I will pass out and wake up,
or close my eyes for the final time.
Whisper to me ever so softly,
let me drink your taste a final time,
and tell me...
do I get to live?

Description:
This a poem I wrote one day out of boredom.
A story I wrote involved a machine turning human,
then being tempted by an android to conquer the world with her.
The world was about to be covered in poison,
and the robot turned human inhales the gas.
An antidote is waiting to be drunk,
but will the android finish them off or let the human live?
It was never completed but here's what the final scene would be like... - Date: 06/24/2009
