    i wish he would see how much i wish he was mine
    i wish he would look at me the way someone looks at somebody else
    when they are totally and completely head over heels in love with them

    i wish he would tell me to my face if he liked me or not
    so i could stop feeling this way if he didn't
    or make it happen if he did
