Ashes, ashes, we all fall dow
Ashes as they hit the ground
Douse us all with inky flakes
What a mess this fire makes
through the flame I see your hand
I hope one day you'll understand.
This time was mine and not for you
You kept us from the things we do
The scene's, no doubt, a bad display
With flames of red and smoke of gray
We'll feed this wreck and then we'll leave
And leave the site to be perceived
And as the flames engulf your heart
I'll look one day and call this art
The crowds don't look, they glance away
But I just stare, for your my prey
Your screams they echo through the town..
Ashes, ashes, we all fall down.

- Description: Eh, I've always liked the phrase 'ashes, ashes, we all fall down' , it just has the most lyrical, beautiful, terrible sound to it. Its basically a public burning, and each stanza is a different person 'talking'. The first one feels guilty, the second one feels happy that the girl is gone, and the third one is glad that she is dying, as if overjoyed by the woman's pain. Its basically about the deteriotion of society, how they are all dying through sins. Hence 'we all fall down'
