I saw your eyes that day.
A brilliant hazel revelation.
Shining, filling a void
I didn't know was there.
Pure windows of joy
To a soul I loved.
I noticed your eyes that day.
A glance
Shining out of the dark
Filling the void.
Directed at me?
A small twinkle,
Yet it was for me.
I missed your eyes that day.
There was nothing to shine at me
Dispelling the dark.
Filling the void.
Even if it wasn't for me,
Your eyes gave me hope.
Your eyes hurt me that day.
Proved who your love was really for.
Shining out of the dark
Filling the void.
You are so happy to leave.
I can see your love for her.

Description:
Have you ever seen someone's eyes shine with light, or love before?
This was a boy I knew at school. He was a wonderful person, and every one of these stanzas happened.
He was the only muse I ever had for good writing, and it still isn't that good.
He hated it. He thought I was angry or sad, but I was always happy to see him happy.
There is a crappy last stanza that I'm cutting. It doesn't fit and this is better without it. - Date: 08/03/2011

but i've enjoyed your predicament and poem
It's the realism i could never perform. and so i thank you for letting me relive your thoughts through a single artifact
